 Prison Break: Season 3
So, the third season starts in three weeks. Here's a 40-second preview for Season 3, including actual clips of the third season (not a teaser). Also, the first 17 minutes of the Season 3 premiere are up on the internet. You can search it on Youtube or if you download stuff, it's probably up on most trackers. Some fairly big spoilers that I've gathered from the first 17 minutes... read at your own risk. Amaury Nolasco (aka Sucre), Rockmund Dunbar (C-Note) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara) are not in the main cast list in the premiere, which suggests they'll be back later in the season in guest-starring roles. Robert Knepper (T-Bag) is not listed in the opening credits, but he's in the Season 3 preview that I provided, so that suggests he'll be a Guest Star for Season 3 and not a main cast member.
There are a couple of new cast members in the main cast list. The returning cast members in the main cast list are Dominic Purcell (Lincoln), Wentworth Miller (Michael), Wade Williams (Bellick), and William Fichtner (Mahone).
The storyline is basically Season 1 in reverse with a much more dangerous setting. Lincoln is a free man and needs to get Michael out of Sona, the most deadliest prison in the world. Bellick is a walking mess. In his first scene, he's in underwear, and ends up face-first in a puddle of mud. Mahone wants Michael's help but Michael doesn't bite. According to the preview (the 40-second preview), Michael, Bellick, Mahone and T-Bag will all have to work together to survive. As I said, T-Bag isn't a part of the premiere, or he at least isn't a part of the main cast or guest star lists.

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
Season 3 starts tonight. Any fans here besides me? Unfortunate news regarding a prominent character... Sarah Wayne Callies is not expected to be returning to Prison Break. Sucks. They can't really recast her this late into the show. At least I hope they don't. Maybe she's just holding out for bigger money.

Well that's not good. The Jodi Lyn O'Keefe character intrigues me though. Good to know she doesn't just appear in teenybopper/horror movies.

And what I've seen of the Season 3 premiere, this looks fairly different in tone to the first two seasons. And that's a good thing. If the show survives the season with a strong plotline and good ratings, I'm sure we'll get more seasons. Personally, I'd like the show to end sooner rather than later, unless they can continue the show with plausible and intriguing storylines.

Im not implying the show wasnt enjoyable but how far can you bring a premise about escaping prison to 4 seasons

Good premiere episode. That prison truly is a hellhole. Almost makes one feel sorry for Bellick.

If this season ends with Micheal in a super-prison revolving around the Sun i'll be pissed.

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
Season is good so far. I personally don't care that they killed off Sara. She just would have distracted from witnessing Mahone's continually devolving state of mind and T-Bag's propensity to kill anyone and everyone

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
The real story behind the death: http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry ... /800024014Callies sounds like an A-hole based on that article. She really gave the creators no choice. Plus, as someone else said, this isn't Grey's Anatomy; it's a gritty suspense/thriller so it's fine since their relationship was tiresome anyhow.

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
Just how many characters have they killed off during the show's run?
Here are the ones I recall:
Sara Haywire Tweener Veronica Kellerman Abruzzi Nick Savrinn
Any others?

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
It's getting preempted by baseball next week right?
I wanna see how the next new episode turns out in terms of ratings. We'll definitely see who the core audience for this show is (you know, those who are beyond the whole Sara-Michael ship).
I'm sad that she was killed off abruptly, but it does work as a catalyst for Michael's future plans.

Any others? As far as major characters go... that sounds right. I guess you can add the real Terence Steadman (who offed himself). It's funny that the two original female regulars were killed off. Would the two new girls face the same fate?

It's on as scheduled next week. There aren't any baseball games on Monday.

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
why is it that when the show kills a female co-star that they have to chop them up into pieces?

 Re: Prison Break: Season 3
I've only watched up till Episode 3 of the season (although I know about the big death this week), and I have to say that I am really, really liking this season. Makes up for the shaky start to Season 2.
As for Sara, the absence of her character (except for photos and phone calls) made me kinda forget about her. I probably would have missed her last season, but I'm good with it now. Prison Break is a different show now.

Anyone caught the two-hour block?
I thought they were fantastic. Though I kind of saw the twist regarding Susan B. and Whistler, I still thought it was a good reveal.

I hope Mahone makes it back to Sona before the next break-out. Is it wrong that I want Mahone to make it out and, you know... live?
