Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2016-2017 Edition
"Pure Genius," which no one watched or cared about, will not be getting a back order, but as per usual this season is not 'officially cancelled.'
Also, not a renewal/cancellation but "Quantico" will move to Mondays in January when it returns from its hiatus (it has a 22-episode order so I guess they have to put it somewhere - maybe they figure "The Bachelor" will be a good lead-in).

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2016-2017 Edition
"Masters Of Sex" has been cancelled after four seasons. The recent season 4 finale will now serve as its series finale (I stopped watching but I hear it works as one).
"The Odd Couple" will also end its season 3 run at 13 episodes, but as usual this season is not 'officially cancelled.'

Wow, I didn't realize Masters of Sex was a poor ratings performer

A scripted network show will be on Saturday night for the first time in 15 years other than a brief Rules of Engagement placeholder, as CBS is (probably dumping) Ransom there

In a surprise move, Amazon has cancelled "Good Girls Revolt" after one season.
A shame, I liked it a lot.

"Reign" has been cancelled by The CW. Its fourth and final season of 16 episodes will air starting in February, and the writers apparently planned for the ending as a series finale.
This continues the trend of even the most buzz-free series on this network getting 4 seasons total.

A shame, I liked it a lot. This is apparently being shopped around and they have interest from USA, Freeform, Bravo, Hulu and ABC (though I'm sure the latter is a huge longshot). Curious to see what happens. More people are talking about the show now that it was cancelled than when it premiered

Making it the first Netflix show to be cancelled after only two season, no?
Should "The Get Down" receive a second season, I expect it to follow suit. It might even be cancelled earlier, though.

Yea that wouldn't surprise me if it never made it to Season 2. The second half of Season 1 should just been called Season 2.

"The Man In The High Castle" has been renewed for a third season and they finally employed a showrunner which they haven't had since the beginning of season 2. Thank god, the second season was a fucking mess. Hopefully they can right the ship.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2016-2017 Edition
It surprising though that they didn't at least try to switch it to a different network (probably Freeform) because it was probably more the content's direction and not the ratings that got it cancelled.
Shame because it was a solid spin-off.

The CW renews everything that has aired this season except Frequency and No Tomorrow. TVD and Reign are at their final seasons. In other words, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supernatural, Supergirl, Jane the Virgin, and last but not least, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ( ) have all been renewed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be watching this nervously ever since I got hooked on the amazing but underperforming Brooklyn 99.

They won't cancel that, it's safe.
"The Affair" was renewed for season 4.

Apparently Hulu has expressed interest in Brooklyn Nine-Nine if Fox decides to cancel it. They won't, though.
