Post iZOMBIE (From The Creator of Veronica Mars)
Image

Premieres Tuesday, March 17th. I remembered when first announced I was iffy on the project. I mean, do we really need more zombies? It sounded awfully like Warm Bodies. Not that that's a bad thing. But coming from Rob Thomas I have a feeling this will be pretty great. I don't think he's had anything bad yet. Veronica Mars is one of my favorite TV series. This looks to have some of the same kind of humor.

Here's hoping it's a good one. But I'm not too worried.

I'll record it to support Rob, and because the girl is cute. A CW version of Walking Dead sounds awful though, so I hope it is quickly able to stand on its own.

It doesn't sound remotely like The Walking Dead though. It just has zombies as well.

I just feel like it will go in that direction if ratings aren't great right away. This is network tv after all.

Hoping for the best though and I'll set my DVR to record series.

Seems bad to me. I already hated the idea of zombies having memory visions after eating brains in Warm Bodies.

That's OK I guess. Not interested though.

But they've probably only seen the first episode or two as well. It's rare that the first episodes of a show are the best. They have to find their footing. So it sounds like it's already pretty damn good. And it will more than likely get even better.

That's very optimistic logic. :P A better way to spin it would be that 69 for a CW show is fantastic, considering the critics are probably much older than this shows target audience. I'm sold, just not sure if I should watch it right away or stockpile a couple episodes. I felt like Veronica Mars was better as a binge show.

That is true.

I'm watching this one tonight. I'm looking forward to it too much not to.

I loved the pilot. It's really fun. Can't wait to keep watching. Definitely has a lot of Veronica Mars in it. I really like Liv as well. Should only get better.

I'm excited for the second episode. It's nice to have a show again to look forward to every week. I generally fall behind on shows but don't see that happening with this one.

Episode 2 was even better. Just loving this show.

Some of the lines I found funniest from this episode.

Clive: How about you just tell me what color shirt he's wearing?
Liv: Cerulean.

Liv: I think he's a liar. And a phony. And I think he's just using me for my brains. Well, their brains.

I watched the first two and enjoyed them. It's too procedural for my taste right now but hopefully that goes away after a few episodes. The actors are appealing even though Rose MacIver is essentially playing Veronica Mars the zombie.

Third episode was good though the cases honestly bore me. The development of Liv and the other characters is aces though. The relationship between her and Ravi is great and reminds me of "Sleepy Hollow."

Liv is a carbon copy of Veronica 80% of the time.

Post Re: iZOMBIE (From The Creator of Veronica Mars)
I loved the finale but a lot definitely feels unresolved. And that's ok. It is setting the stage for Season 2.

I loved Major going all John Wick. Finally he got a win after being the show's punching bag this season. Unfortunately it didn't last long. Being that I didn't read the comics I was seriously worried he was going to die. And essentially he did, but I thought it might be the end of him for good. I could have almost seen that happening. Would have been rather tragic.

How about those repercussions for Liv deciding to turn Major back instead of saving herself? Now she can't save her brother. I wonder if they'd actually kill off her brother. I don't really think there was enough brother/sister bonding time for me to care too much if they did. It would just really, really suck for Liv to have to live with this. I don't see them having any more serum for a cure for a long time now.

Cannot wait for Season 2. This has been a great first season.

It needs to ditch the case-of-the-week aspect because none of them are interesting. I love all the character based stuff and the finale was great.

Forgot this was also coming back this week with Flash and Arrow.

Season 1 was fantastic, can't wait to see how the antics grown this season.
