I knew Milo would return. It's not like he has anything else going on. I want Dean back but I can't see them getting Jared since he's busy with Supernatural and would probably cost more than the other two. I think they need his inclusion though ;). Even if just a scene. #TeamDean :P

Have you watched the show recently? He's the worst and treats Rory like shit - his whole arc where he cheats on his wife with her made him repulsive to me but he sucks from the getgo.

Logan was hands down her best boyfriend.

I stopped watching GG in season two or three. Don't remember really. The show got so stale. Amd Rory, God is she annoying. My bf rewatched it this past month. Caught couple of episodes with him including the finale. God was it a bad finale. I really hope fans get a better finale with these mini movies.

The finale made me cry :P. The last couple seasons were lesser Gilmore Girls but still enjoyable because it's Gilmore Girls and even when it's not as good it's still good. The first four seasons were really great, IMO.

Nah. Wasn't really a finale you cry about. I just think very early on the show just got cozy to never mix up the basic blueprint for an episode. They had funny scenes sure, but it was always the same in idea.

I don't know. I know a lot of people who cried during the finale. Obviously being the last episode added to the sad factor. It was pretty sad for people who watched the show all of those years and absolutely adored the characters.

The series creator/showrunner quit right before the final season because The CW could not agree on a deal with her. She has since stated that the ending was not the one she has imagined for the series.

I'm just really hoping they can re-create the magic again and that they can slip back into these characters effortlessly.

I'm kind of disappointed in the Melissa McCarthy thing. The story was that she wasn't available for it, which everyone knew was horseshit. Now suddenly she will appear. I get that she's above TV now, but ... if she held out for more money, I'd rather she just not appear.

Um, she's been starring on a tv show since 2010.

Because 2010 was before Bridesmaids/Identity Thief/The Heat and she signed a six seasons contract back then. She would have been out much earlier.

Having 100% for a TV show on RT is not a feat because the review pool is so small. Metacritic gets it better. The show is 76 there. Should be OK watch.

Post Re: Gilmore Girls coming to Netflix!
Ahh, where you lead, I will follow you.

When my boyfriend moved into our apartment together, the first thing we started doing together was start watching Gilmore Girls. It's always been my favorite show and he's never watched it. It became our little routine. We would come home from work, I would make dinner and we would watch a few episodes of Gilmore Girls. To say that Gilmore Girls has been an important part of our life together thus far is a bit of an understatement.

Last night, I woke up to prepare a little mini feast of junk food and coffee and I woke him up at 2:50AM and we anxiously waited for twelve minutes for A Year in the Life to premiere so we could start our six hour binge of our Girls coming back.

Now, I'm going to be clear that, at least at this point, I won't talk about spoilers because I don't want anything spoiled for any fan who hasn't started or finished (what's wrong with you?) yet.

Our Girls are back and they're better than ever. Nearly a decade has passed since the seventh and then final season and these characters are just the same and it's so wonderful to have them back in my life. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are all back in full force, giving excellent performances. All of them have their big moments and they don't disappoint.

The writing is still fast and witty, filled with pop culture references and humor. As much as this is the same Gilmore Girls that we remember, it's also a bit different. It's darker, it's more realistic and it's not so much in a fairy tale world anymore.

The six hours of watching Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life are filled with laughter and tears (oh lots and lots of tears). Hitting play on the first episode "Winter" is like going home after years of not seeing your family and playing catch up. It hits its stride in the middle of the second episode and it doesn't let up.

It was beautiful, a bit heart breaking, hilarious and nostalgic. And the best part of it all? After years and years, we finally get to hear those final four words. Some will be disappointed and some will totally just get them. I actually guessed the four words years ago but I was still surprised. I loved the ending. I loved it all. It was not perfect, there were minor quibbles here or there but this was wonderful.

I've watched "Winter" and "Spring" so far. Loving it. Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop are fantastic so far.

Though I'm pissed that Matt Czuchry being in a bulk of it from the getgo means Rory probably won't end up with Logan ;) The other two suck.

"Summer" was lovely. I hate Jess so his appearance sucked, I hope he doesn't come back ;) But the ending with Sutton Foster's song and Lorelai crying was beautiful and sad.
