My gf has the idea that Daario Naharis will feel too dejected about being left behind to he'll find a way to betray Dany. I feel with some of the deaths this season, they at least have hopefully narrowed down some narratives.

With Dany's heavy handed "I trust you!" To Tyrion, he's so obviously going to betray her. How I don't know.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Jamie killing Cersei is the likely outcome, but I also find it hard to believe. Jamie has done some horrible things in the name of love for his sister; Cersei using wildfire to extract her revenge and saving herself doesn't convince me that it's enough for him to actually kill her for that act. Sure, it's the reason he decided to kill Aerys, but he's no Cersei. And yes, there's the prophecy, but it's vague terminology.
Perhaps it'll cross his mind, causing an inner-conflict for a bit, but even if given the chance to kill her... I think he'll falter (which may even cost him his own life).

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
obviously the wall will come down because the night king will touch bran while he's in a vision south of the wall... same thing that happened in the raven's cave.
jaime will also definitely kill cersei, the only question is before or after dany invades.
i like the theory that bran causes/caused the mad king's madness, but i don't think that's happening.
i also think we're finally getting the cleganebowl next season, though not sure how. maybe cersei sends the mountain to winterfell to deal with the starks and he runs into the hound?
littlefinger will also be killed by sansa, i think... she's his weak spot.

I'm guessing in D&D's version it would have something to do with saving Brienne who mysteriously teleports to King's Landing in 1 day since shes probably the only real friend Jaimie has. I'm more interested in how it will unfold in the books

My prediction for Season 7 is that Daenerys will attack King's Landing and burn the Red Keep down with her dragons, but Cersei and Jaime will survive because they are actually Targaryen bastards and are both immune to fire.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Yeah Arya and Melissandre will definitely meet. Whether Arya kills her or not we shall see.
No doubt the wall will tumble by the end of Season 7, paving way for Season 8 to be all about the WW vs the rest.
Season 7 will focus on Dany invading Westeros/Kings Landing.

Last season: Jon retreats to south, Sam comes with a solution, massive battle between humans and undead, mostly everyone dies, and Dany rules a forsaken kingdom. These are predictions or do you have inside info? I'd say 80-90% of this will come to fruition. Instead of ticking off key scenes from the books, i feel i'll be ticking off scenes from Magnus' KJ post from here on

I woke up late this morning, so I played this and told myself if I wasn't out of the house by the time it was over, I would be blown up by wildfire.

Season 6's soundtrack has been particularly good, agreed.

I'm OK with 7 episodes, but the delay is a downer.

Those rumors have been floating around for years. Though I do think it should finally see the light of day by early 2017 (6 years after the last book!)

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Does anyone believe that
a) It will only end up being seven books in the end
and
b) Martin will ever finish the series
?

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
He really plans 8 books and he has mentioned that before. He wont be able to wrap it up in 7.
And yes he wont finish the series if its 8. There is a slight chance he does finish it if its 7 and he gets on a roll but we'll see.

Re: "Game of Thrones" Season 6
Finished reading the books (books 4 and 5). It was cool to have what the characters looked like in mind, but even though there were some events that were present in the series, the execution was completely different.
A couple of things I noticed: 1) I see why the cut Bran from season 5. There just wasn't enough material. Seems so interesting that Martin has said he is going to be one of the main players in the end of the series. 2) For as much as people love talking about LSH, she appears in one? chapter in the last two books. 3) Show did not do The Crow's Eye justice. I had such a sense of dread with his character in the books that just didn't translate into the TV series. 4) GRRM definitely loves food. 5) Hardhome in TV >>> book.
I really like both worlds, that of the book and that of the TV show. Might have more thoughts later.

So they are revealing the premiere on FB live right now. Apparently the more people who comment Dracarys and fire the father it will be revealed.
