Third season starts tonight at 10PM on MTV. Due to the success this show has had both critically and commercially, MTV has given it a 20-episode order, up from the 12 episode orders it has gotten in the past.

For those who haven't watched this show, it's actually quite excellent and one of the best teen dramedies on the air right now. It routinely gets high praise from critics and actually got a Critics Choice Award nomination for its star Ashley Rickards last year. It also won a People's Choice Award if I remember correctly. It is way, way better than the network it is on suggests - it has sharp writing, relatable plotlines and great performances across the board.

Excited to see where it goes this year!

Tonight's 2 episodes were killer and on point. This season looks like it'll be fun.

I'm excited. Love this show. I currently don't get MTV (only MTV 2) so I didn't watch them tonight but will see them sometime this week.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. Sadie was hilarious as usual.

This show returned last night. Watching the premiere now and it's great so far! I love Sadie.

Why isn't the latest episode on Hulu?

There's a three-week delay for MTV shows, even with Hulu Plus.

That bites.

Finally watched the first two episodes of Part 2/Season 3 since they're on Hulu now. Loved them. Can't wait for more. This show is so enjoyable.

Good episode last night - I'm glad that Jenna's over her 'bad girl' phase.

They start shooting season 4 in January so hopefully the hiatus isn't too long and it comes back after "Teen Wolf" completes airing its season.

I watched the latest episode of Awkward to be added to Hulu. I'm sure a lot of viewers are finding Jenna to be a bitch this season, and I understand that, but I still like her and get where she's coming from. I remember what it's like being a teenager and feeling like everyone is out to get you. I definitely had some times where I acted bratty. I'm loving this season. This show is so entertaining.

Watched the two latest episodes to be added to Hulu. Now Jenna's just being a bitch . Looks like this was the last episode for that though.

I finished the season today. The finale leaked online ahead of its airdate tomorrow night and I primarily watch this show online anyway since I bought the iTunes pass so I figured I might as well. Loved it. It actually could have been a nice series finale with the callback to the letter as well as the final montage but I'm excited we have a 20-episode season to look forward to. Since a lot of the main characters are graduating I'm curious to see how this changes things.

I wish the ratings would get good again. No clue why people all of a sudden abandoned it after the premiere of Season 3.

It does fine for the network and they're happy with the numbers I'm sure. The fourth season was extended to 20 episodes only about two weeks ago.

It's still a huge decrease. Makes me worried they won't continue it once they graduate and honestly I'd enjoy seeing Jenna in college.

Watched the episode where that girl who played Rose on Hart of Dixie showed up. I've missed her on Dixie. Is she no longer going to be on that show? Regardless I did enjoy her here.

I got really really bored with the show at the second half of season 2 and felt like the show was going nowhere. Guess a lot of people shared similar thoughts. The first season had a cute "mystery" of who wrote Jenna the letter. Later on it just became another soapy teen show.

It's well past Season 3 but there isn't a different thread. Anyone else still watch? I was thinking this week's episode was the final episode of the series since it was renewed for a fifth and final season. I thought it was ending after high school. But I guess this was just the first part of Season 5. I'm actually pretty glad because I've been enjoying it and thought the finale was great. I'm looking forward to the jump ahead a bit when it returns in 2016. Will be interesting to see what happens after high school.

I guess it's possible it will return for a 6th season, which I'm hoping happens. It's still one of MTV's better performing scripted shows even if ratings aren't what they used to be.

As the show went on I really grew to like Matty a lot. Now I'm rooting for him and Jenna.

I'm still watching but I'm over this show. it's bland and boring most of the time - it's definitely time for it to end. But curious to see what they do with the time jump.

I highly enjoyed the premiere. Don't really want this to be the last season.

I thought it sucked. I'll stick it through until the end but I'm glad it's ending. They recycle the same storylines over and over again.
