This was the best episode so far.

And look, Natasha Lyonne isn't dead or something.

Interesting note: New Girl is the first new sitcom since Step by Step in 1991 to lead the night in the demo for its first three episodes.

FOX is walking a tightrope here by sidelining its biggest hit this year after only three airings. I know it's only one week (although as far as I can tell, it's three overall preempted episodes because it was also going to air this week and the last week in October as well) but you don't take the steam out of a new show. Never. It spells bad news when it returns.

Finally caught up to episodes 2 and 3. After a mildly entertaining pilot I really thought episodes 2 and 3 blossomed into a cute comedy show. Too bad it's already on hiatus due to Fox's dumb scheduling.

Caught up on the third episode. I still don't get the fascination and success of this show.

Decent episode tonight. Though as much as I love Zooey this show is not as good as I was expecting. There's just something missing. I'll of course keep watching though.

And I haven't been able to warm up to the guy/character that replaced Damon Wayans at all. He's rather bland.

That's just because Damon Wayans Jr. is so awesome on Happy Endings. And you miss him.

After the awfulness of "Glee" tonight this show was such a breath of fresh air. I adore it and laughed out loud several times. Lake Bell was awesome too.

That's true. Would have been different if this guy had been on the show from the beginning. Though he never would have been as awesome as Damon.

Hmmm. The weakest episode yet IMHO. A bit bland. And I agree about the new guy. Wayans Jr. had more charm in one episode than this one in three episodes so far.

Yeah, I really can't stand the new guy. He's so uninteresting. And this show has not lived up to its promise, IMO. I really expected more from it. Last night's episode was so meh. It probably would have been better with Damon Wayans Jr. :P.

Joey makes the show, and it's quite enjoyable.

I finally got to see an episode of this this week and it had to do with Thanksgiving and Justin Long was on it. I thought it was pretty hilarious. I lol'd a couple times.

The episode with Justin Long was good, but tonight's was terrible. So uninteresting. For Christmas, I want this show to get new writers. Zooey is too good for this. That's why the show dropped so much in viewers. It's just not THAT good. I was talking to someone last week who loves Zooey and they said they only watched two episodes before giving up because they thought it sucked.
