I think it's safe to say, by the way, that "Fluffer" is one of the best episodes the show has ever done. This show has improved so, so, so much since its pilot.

I'm so glad they expanded the show from "Look how adorkable Zooey Deschenal is!" Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield are so good, and it's really done wonders for the show.

I just wish they could find ways to improve Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris. They don't drag it down, but New Girl would be perfect if they were better.

I think they're both very good, actually, although Winston is still the biggest problem. The limited use of Cece actually kind of works in my opinion.

It makes me feel old when I realize there are people who don't know who Steve Urkel is.

You and me both. I think it's pretty unrealistic to expect people born in 1989/1990 to have not heard of Steve Urkel, but I'll give the show a pass on that. Kids currently in high school not knowing Family Matters and Full House makes a little more sense.

Schmidt is the best part of this show, and I don't think it's close.

I dunno, Nick is making a strong case for himself this season.

Yes. Well, I mean, not at this very moment. (Thursday morning)

But when it is scheduled to air, it airs.

do you define this as trainwreck bad or just plain ol' bad?

and did you ever watch it again since the pilot? 'cause it got a lot better.

Just plain ol' bad. I tried watching again this summer after laughing at the clip about the towel, but I couldn't even finish an episode

Booo.

You can love or hate Zooey, but Max Greenfield as Schmidt was about the best thing ever last season.

This week's episode was great! Loved Jess with the hipsters.

Tonight's episode was HILARIOUS. Loved seeing Cece's hysterical roommate again, and the Russian monkey cartoon was so random and funny, as well as Jess trying to model. And the Nick/Schmidt reunion scene at the end was great as well.

Yeah last night's episode was HYSTERICAL. Jess modeling seriously made me laugh. I was eating dinner and I literally blew my food all over the place. It was that funny. ;)

Yeah, Nick's screams in the haunted house were certainly the highlight of the episode. Him and the clown! I was dying.

Also, this show treats its guest/supporting characters with surprising sincerity. Cece's new boyfriend, Nick's love interest of the week (with her "I'm an actual person, not an idea"), Sam the Doctor, etc. All had moments that didn't portray them as many other sitcoms would.

I hate that this is on at the same time as "Happy Endings." They are the two shows I look forward to the most every week.
