And so it begins, after 7 (some AWESOME *First season I'm looking @ u*, and some awful *Hi there fifth season*) it is time for the housewives to go out and I'm begging them to go out with a fucking BANG!.

I hope it is a return to form after the very weak Season 7.

You know that feeling when you're shocked to find out that a well-known celebrity from like 40 years ago is still alive, albeit in a nursing home, in diapers, with no memory and only the faintest glimmer of life in their eyes?

That's how I feel about Desperate Housewives.

V's Charles Mesure (the one that looked like wolverine) has joined the cast.

As much I disliked Season 7 - the first episode of Season 8 was fantastic. Just a classic episode. Hope that bodes well for the rest of the season.

You know, I've enjoyed every season. Especially lately. I thought Season 7 was great, and the premiere of Season 8 was as well.

Season 7 did improve towards the end. Ive enjoyed them all as well (7 being least by far though).

Season 8 is looking good. Ep 1 clearly aims to give a Season 1 type vibe and it may just work as the series draws to a conclusion.

This might have had the best premiere of any returning drama series this season. Absolutely loved the first episode.

Also, the ending with the letter gave me chills.

It certainly did. Nice throwback to season 1.

These first two episodes certainly feel so much better than the last couple of seasons.

Agreed. Feels much like the early seasons. Hopefully it will maintain that for the rest of the season.

Good start. Hopefully this time they deliver. After all it's the last season, no more - we'll get it better next time excuses...

Hmmm I liked the episode but so far, they haven't said anything about the new neighbor, hell he wasn't even in this episode.

Is he gonna have a secret or what?.

As long as he isn't the one who sent the letter, Imma be ok with this.

I can't believe DH is actually holding up without doing much advance in the main storyline but these episodes are good. Also next episode looks to be juicy.

Very non eventful and draggy episode 3-5. Not the way last season should be.

Apparently there's supposed to be a big midseason death, and I would bet on the show killing off a couple of other characters by the end of the series as well. At the moment I think Carlos is a goner, with his drinking problem worsening. Chuck also probably won't last the season.

I know this will never happen but I want them to kill Susan soooooo badly.

If they kill off any of the main four they will kill off Bree.

They won't kill any of the leading ladies. Considering they're paying them a hefty sum for the contract they might as well use them for the whole season.

They got $12mil (each one) for the whole season, right?

Tonight's episode is great so far aside from the BORING AS HELL Susan storyline with her art teacher.

This is the best episode of the season, 2 scenes with Susan... #WINNING.
