 Entourage and Hung
They are back, and really good openings to both.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
I enjoyed the first episode of Entourage. More memorable than the 1st one of last season I think. Bummer we have to wait two weeks for Ep 2.

Hung was just OK. I was actually a bit disappointed by this episode.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
This season of "Entourage" has been kind of mediocre so far. I think it's time to end it - they seem to have run out of good storylines.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
They never had good storylines. I saw a few days ago the Aquaman plot on Fox Life, gosh, what an awful humor. Thank God I stopped watching after first few episodes of first season. Another hyped show that ultimately disappoints.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
I actually think its been pretty awesome so far. Next week with Scott Caan looks pretty great. I'm digging Vince and his now suicidal tendencies. Looks like the show will end on a great and interesting note. And watching Entourage on Fox life is like watching Curb on TV Guide, Sex and The City on TBS, or Sopranos on A&E, a Bad Idea, and I don't see it translating that well in a different language.
Very big improvement over the premiere of Hung.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
Yeah Seasons 2 to 5 (bar 4) were fantastic. Aquaman in particular was alot of fun. I'll watch ep 2 this week but season 7 hasn't been bad so far. I would like them to end the show with maybe season 8 and a return to some of the Seasons 2/3 adventures.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
It's already been announced that season eight (which will consist of 6 episodes) will be the last season, then HBO and Mark Wahlberg hope to do a theatrical movie a la Sex and the City.

The first episode was decent, but the second was pretty awesome.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
OMG, Medellin was such a weak film to highlight any season, and they used it for the super long 4 with the Sopranos ending and all, and Walsh was the worst character of the show EVER, Thank God they wrote him off for good.

Magception wrote: Entourage, outside of Ari and Drama, has sucked once the Medellin plot ended. Actually, I totally disagree - the Medellin arch (essentially all of Season 4) was the low point of the series. It got better withe the next two seasons. BTW - the latest episode was awesome!! Loved it.

medellin was a horrible story line. Billy Walsh was a great character until that season where he was in every episode, then he sucked.

Smoke Jumpers was one of the best stories, Agent vs. Agent, Ari Vs. Studio and the job offer. And the film shoot itself was awesome with Stellen and Jason Patrick. I really like the way Vince is going this year, its giving the show a bit of a weird edge it never had.

I liked Medillian because how hard the film failed in the end.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
I dont think E could be more annoying. In every aspect of theshow, he is just lame. Vince has become a complete tool, none of his carefreeness comes off natural anymore and is just lame. Turtle was never that interesting, but this tequila crap turning otu to be just another person trying to get to Vince is so old. Drama was funny but always has the same story line; we get it, he is a horrible actor always looking for a show who shoots himself in the foot whenever he gets an opportunity.
The only one who doesnt get old is Ari (his showdown with the smokejumpers diector made last season). Ari and his story lines are always good (though Andrew Kleins thing was pretty ridiculous).
Imo, the shows completely jumped the shark. Magnus is correct when he says Medellin is the last time it felt somewhat real. Now the show has become a paraody of itself (ping pong matches? really?). They went through his comeback way too quickly, imo. The spend a whole seson trying to rebuild his career and then out the blue it just magically returns.
Everything is getting redunant and old. I never thought these guys would annoy me as a characters as much as they do.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
God Im loving the season now. I will say its down on the laughs. Vince is just loosing his mind, a very interesting dynamic the show has never gotten. I went from hating Scott Caan to loving him in two episodes, great character. It sucks that Walsh is back next episode, with Vince's state of mind he will probably be less tolerable than ever as he brings out the worst in Vince. That Anal Sex was hilarious though with Sloane and E.
Meanwhile Hung and the Happy Birthday song was one of the funniest/Awkward fucking things I ever saw.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
I love Amanda too, she is my favorite non lead character. She is Ari's best rival in my opinion, even more than Terrence. I wish they made some of the movies on here, I'd love to see a Stamos Saget comedy on TV.

 Re: Entourage and Hung
The exchanges between Ari and Amanda have always been great. Though the Ari vs Terrance storylines have usually been better. Amanda is kind of under-utilised.

Well yeah Terrence was absurd in Season 2, but the smoke jumpers thing with them and Ari possibly leaving Vince just to fuck her up was epic

For some reason I confused Amanda for Babs - hence it didnt quite make sense. Now that im up to date on the latest episode - I understand it alot better. Yes, great to have Amanda back - cant wait to see what they have in store for Ari. What a great season this is turning out to be. Though how awkward was the E/Sloan anal scene!! A shame that we only have five more episodes this season and only six more next before the show ends. It should end on a high, but would have preferred to see more episodes.

Just read this as I skipped it last time in case of spoilers. Damn they are bring Walsh back!? I thought we'd seen the last of him. However, if its a one off, it may be ok. Much like when they brought the much hated Dom back and it was actually a good episode.
