Starring Steve Carrell.

Look any good? I have just stumbled upon the brilliance of the original series, and I don't see how NBC won't mess this up big time. I never watched Coupling (either version), but I don't have high hopes of this transferring well to US television. I hope it will. And, is Ricky Gervais a writer, or just exec producer? If he's a writer, it may work.

He's a writer.
Well here's the imdb site for it: Here
Users don't have high hopes for it. But since I never got to watch any of my dvd's of The Office, It looks hilarious to me

Instead of coming up with a new show with the same tone and wit of the British "Office", they decided to copy the old first episode script almost word for word (only changing a few jokes to make them Americanized) and then miscast the entire thing.
lol, thats pretty stupid. This isnt gonna work at all, the reason why Office was so great was because Ricky Gervais played the role almost perfect, he WAS the show. If the guy who's playing David Brent cant cut it, the show will completely suck.

The Office is the most over-rated peice of nonsense on television. Ricky Gervais is like a schoolkid looking for peoples approval - especially outside of this show. And i found it flat, ie not cringeworthy, not funny. NOTHING, just bland bullshit waste of time.

HEY! Ashlee is somewhat hot (but kinda sucks at singing).
Jessica can sing and is hot in Dukes of Hazzard.

To be a fan of these artists dont you actually have to LIKE them.
1. That comment had NOTHING to do with the office, basically, your trying to devalue my opinon by associating it with one you dont consider to be valid because its not your own.
2. That comment made NO sense since, as you can ask my friend Ashley who is an avid fan of Ashlee Simpson, i think the Simpson sisters make horrible music. So basically, you made that up as if you actually read my posts once in a while you'd see that Ive said more than once i dont like the sisters music or image, but i defend Ashlee because her public slaughtering is totally immature and uncalled for inspite of her lack of talent or musical flair.
So what if i dont like "The Office"? so what if im not with the crowd thats buying the acclaim. Hell even Jennifer Garner and the Alias team endorse it...i STILL dont like it.
Apologies on my desk Monday at 8, thanks.

Uh, Monday isn't a good day for me.
We'll have to agree to disagree.
