Post "Mad Men" (Season 2)

Starts Sunday at 10pm on AMC!

I can't wait! I watched the first season recently and was shocked at how utterly amazing it was. Every episode was just perfection - full of completely intriguing storylines, great direction, impeccable production design and fantastic performances. It definitely lives up to the hype - this is one of television's best shows. There were several cliffhangers at the end of the last season so I'm looking forward to seeing how they are resolved. This should be yet another fantastic season.

Along with HBO's "In Treatment," this is probably the best show that you aren't watching ;) Check it out and you'll instantly be hooked.

You know, now that it's getting Emmy nods and all, it may pick up a bigger audience. I've heard really good things about the show but I've never seen more than maybe 10 minutes of any episode. after this season (2) comes out on DVD I'm going to watch them through. Actually, I may just try to power through season 1 and catch 2 before it ends because it started so recently.

I bought the first season DVD on a whim. I'm up to episode 6. I gotta say.. I like it, but the structure is a bit weird. Some episodes are business-heavy, and others are home with the wife-heavy. It just feels a little odd. I need to finish the season before season 2 begins this Sunday.

I'll definitely be watching. The episodes I saw of the first season were entertaining.

Loved the premiere. Let's hope viewership is up this season.

It is :D

The season premiere drew nearly 2 Million viewers, which is more than double of last season's average.

Just watched the latest episode and it was great, as usual. Loved that we finally found out what happened to Peggy's baby, and for once I actually felt for Pete in this episode - which is really saying something since I usually find him despicable.

Ratings apparently went down after the huge audience to the premiere, to just over 1 Million viewers. That's still good though, considering it airs about 10 times on AMC each week ;)

And considering last year only has an average of what? More than half-a-million? Still excellent.

Great episode tonight. The best hour of tv I've seen this summer.

I'm talking about "The Benefactor".

I just watched Sunday's episode and loved it - it's definitely one of the better episodes of the series and probably the best so far this season. It's really difficult to choose a favorite character on this show - I find them all so fascinating.

Great episode. Peggy is an interesting character. She could easily be boring but she's acted and written so well.

Meh....I'm SO behind. Still on season 1, actually. I have no time for hour long shows! The commitment is too large.

Ugh...I seriously don't think I'll have time to catch up completely until like...the end of December. :(
