Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
If so they can bring other characters that Sylar killed too. I'm still fond of the waitress Hiro had a crush on.
But I don't think Elle will come back. Especially in later seasons. Kristen will get a new TV gig. I don't expect her to be jobless for a season or two.

I meant a one-or-two episode appearance where she essentially says "Hey, I'm not really dead, but now I'm going into hiding until the show needs me again! Bye!"

What would be the purpose of that? But then again, what's the purpose of most things in Heroes these days...?

I must say, this episode was pretty good.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
Yes it was really good. I wonder when Peter will get his powers back? He'll probably get another injection I guess...
Now I'm just a bit lost as to the origins of the powers. Are they all engineered or were some born with it? IF so, who was born with these powers? I also didn't get the catalyst idea; i thought it was a gene, but they showed it like it was a light of some kind which is kind of weird.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
Good episode. But the catalyst doesn't make any sense. Whatever it was it's gone I guess. So they only have a limited supply of shots.
People were born with the powers. Angela and her husband probably lied about Nathan. It seems like they lie about everything. Larter's sister characters were enigneered it seems. And it makes sense to make tests on three completely same subjects. Those were the only ones that were implied as engineered if I'm not mistaken.
And I hope Arthur is dead for good. They seriously need to scale back on characters. Even the truth/lie girl had more charisma than most of the existing characters.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
There are some interesting quotes from Bryan Fuller on AICN. He has some ideas about what went wrong and how to fix it and says he'll be around next season too.

Zeljko Ivanek will be playing a character called Hunter (or The Hunter?) in Volume 4. That's all I need to tide me over until Fuller tidies up.

In a way the last episode was somewhat of an improvement (finally some things got going, Arthur got killed)...but the whole thing with the magic light is

So, has anyone seen the finale of the volume?
It was alright. Some stuff was really good, but some other stuff also pretty bad.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I thought the finale was awful. Horribly horribly horrible. And the setup for Volume 4 is horrendous. Looks boring and stupid as hell.

It was a boring mess. The ending was (unintentionally) hilarious though.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
i actually didnt find it to be that awful. of course my expectations for the show are so low. I hear the next few get really bad but they start to turn around when Fuller got back into the mix.

I taped it and watched 24. The last few minutes were horrible. If this keeps up it will not have a season 4.

This show fucking sucks. That was pretty ridiculous. So far the only good things this season has been the Hunter, Sylar, and Noah. All of the other characters are so stupid.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I always thought they should have killed off Sylar at the end of the first season. The funny part is that his story is the only one that works and is enjoyable in these two episodes of volume 4 that has been pretty lame so far.

So I've been keeping up with the TWoP recaps since I stopped watching this back in November and it doesn't sound like I've missed much. Bleh.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I actually disagree.
This season has been great, with one caveat: You have to be able to accept that they restarted and essentially threw the plot out the window not only after Season 1, but again after Season 2.
Tough to swallow, but if you can, I think this season has actually been a step in the right direction. Realistally, it's about as good as I could have hoped for thus far.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
They are just ripping off X-Men though. This is just Days of Future Past and X-Men did that storyline 10times better.

this volume hasn't been awful if you can get over the fact that none of the characters act realistically.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 3
I'm not sure why I keep watching this. It's like a routine by now, I am never excited about new episodes...haven't been since the beginning of this season.
