It was the series finale for Grounded for Life!!!!
Even though the show was still pretty good and one of the decent comedies around in the beginning of this season, they managed to screw up another finale. It was one of its weakest episodes I have ever seen. they didn't even give it an hour, and it actually felt like shorter than 1/2 hour.
O well, I'm still pretty pissed it's gone, especially What I Like About You has drawn consistently worse ratings and they're even on the same night for better comparison.

Yup. The momment I saw those numbers, I expected it within days. Goodbye to the greatest television franchise ever created; your 700 episodes will always stand testiment to your cultural impact.
