Post The 'Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List' Thread (Season 3)
New season, new thread. Premiered last night.

One of the best episodes of the show ever, I think.

I watched like the last 20 minutes. HILARIOUS!!!

It was followed by an hour of her stand-up stuff and it was uproarious. I LOVED IT. The bit about her mom cursing was non-stop laughter. I LOVE HER!!!

I just love the look on her face when in the preview for the season this guy's like, "I actually don't really know what show you're from" and she goes, "...and in my own house!!!"

I recorded Everybody Can Suck It but haven't watched it yet. :)

Make sure to watch the rest of the premiere, though. The part with the allegedly straight stylist is hilarious.

"So how many guys have you blown?" lol

But there's actually a poignant moment in the show, I don't know if you saw, where she talks about her marriage. Sad stuff.

I'm catching up with the premiere link you gave in the season 2 thread and I think I just saw the marriage bit you were talking about. That was sooooo sad. I almost cried.

Most serious - and most emotional - episode of The D-List yet.

Kathy's a trooper.

That was very touching.

This show needs to be nominated for Reality/Special-Class... or whatever category it's considered.

I wonder if they'd ever nominate her again after what she did at the last Emmys... well, it wasn't the televised Emmy's but still... I'm sure a lot of voters were there.

I haven't watched the second episode. I'm downloading it on iTunes now and I caught the last 20 minutes of episode 3 with her dad's stuff... my god won't someone give this woman a hug???

I'm seeing her Friday night at Universal Amphitheater.

Oh my god, was that actually aired? Larry King Live is still live after all? He totally didn't know what to do, and she just kept going with it. Jesus. I love Kathy Lee.

You guys ever get around to finishing the season?

I thought it was the best yet.

I hope she comes back for another season. I read an interview recently where Kathy said this might be the last.

It's over already?

I haven't seen anything since the second episode (except the part when her dad dies)

I'm off to iTunes I guess.

I will be really sad if this is the last season but you know, she's been through alot and she's divulged alot to her fans as well, so I'd definitely respect anything she does.

(omg wow this new hopefully temporary layout sucks. I've avoided posting the whole day because I can't stand it) :(

I watched all 3 season over July, she just became on of my top 5 comedians. The show is hilarious.. JESSICA! My favourite part was when her dad died, it shows she has some emotion and heart because she is so raw and rough.. Favourite moment though was episode 7 I think..the finale of this season when she was getting her make up done and shes like .. ya and i dated a midget.. he's like EH YOU WANNA GO OUT. I brought him home to my parents, my dad's like "she said you'd be taller" and my mom's like JESUS CHRIST JOHNNY THE POOR BOY.. I'm like ma he's not a kid, he's 35.

It was a GREAT season. The Larry King episodes, the prison/gay porn ep, and the trip to London.... absolutely, without a doubt, the funniest stuff on TV. I'm still a loyal fan. :zonks:
