 Numb3rs - Is it a good show or cheap rip off of CSI / others Anyone see Numb3rs? Any opinions?

The first episode is just about to finish airing on the east coast. It was placed after the AFC Championship game tonight as to give it a boost in the ratings - It airs on CBS. It moves to it's normal timeslot Friday at 10 (I think). It's too much like CSI for me, it's CSI with crazy math equations.

Anyway, it is a new CBS show that premiered after the playoff football game about a FBI agent who uses his math genius brother as a numb3ers predictor for analysing crimes.
So CBS has
Sunday - Cold Case
Monday - CSI: Miami
Tuesday - NCIS
Wednesday - CSI: NY
Thursday - CSI & Without a Trace
Friday - Numb3rs
Saturday - ?

i dont know, but im getting hsick of all these crime shoes!, the only one i watch and will watch is the original CSI!
CBS needs to stop with those shows, but there doing pretty damn good on the ratings, so more power to them!

Friday is an awful day for normal folks who have dates, but a great TV night for lonely Geeks. Numb3rs struck me as tent-pole for a new Geek Night, which has been sorely lacking since the X-files. They have to put in some CSI-stuff to get initial viewers.
If it lasts for another season, maybe they'll tone down the flash and dash.

I thought it was great. So far it seems better then any of the CSIs or Cold Case. I would rank WAT ahead of it though.

its pretty good but on a bad night should stick with sunday. Here's what CBS need to do they need to take sunday night movie move it to saturday and then make sunday for 60 minutes,cold case at 9 and numbers at 10 and then another new show/joan of arcadia at 8. Then make friday another comedy night.
