I think while Lost may still do well, it doesn't have a chance at beating American Idol... very sadly.

33 Million americans proved that the country has about as much intelligence collectively as a goat by tuning into American Idol's Tuesday premiere.

Damn.

Funnily enough, The beloved American Idol is a remake of UK's Pop Idol, which is a remake of the UKS Pop Stars. The makers of Pop Idol and Pop stars are suing Simon Cowell for ripping off the formatt [which he starred in] in the uk to create....The X Factor, which also featured Sharon Osbourne as a judge and is identical in nearly every way [even featuring the same hosts] to Pop Idol.

Too damn right; its bad enough having to hear all these people desperate to be manufactured stars, and too stupid to realise that exposing themselves as vunerable on television is going to damage their long term chances anyway - if not for the tackiness of it all - for the damage it does to image building.

NCIS is doing well in the ratings but I no longer like the show, it has gone from a gritty tough military investigation show that had a few flashes of quirkiness and humor, to a show that apparently thinks it is a dramedy, with over-done quirks and an attempted joke every 15 seconds. Bleh.
