Re: House: Season 4
Boo! Figures CTB would get fired, since she was my favorite. I hope I grow to like 13 more, because she gets on my nerves now.
Actually, Taub and Kumar (I'm never going to call him Kutner) are both kind of annoying too. Again, ditto, maybe they'll become less so in the future.
No new episode until January?!

They should have kept CTB and fired either one of the guys, both of which are dull.

Re: House: Season 4
I didn't like CTB because I didn't see any growth for the character. I like 13, I think she works great with House. He seems to like her, he needs somebody like that other than Wilson.

Re: House: Season 4
I only like 13 and Kumar. Bitch is... well, a bitch, and Taub is fairly bland. Kumar is at least Kumar, and 13 is at least hot. So I'm okay with the new team.
The episode was alright. The patient wasn't really as interesting as they made him out to be. And the Wilson stuff was too serious.
No ep till January? For real?

I miss Ridiculously Old Guy. It would've been great to have Carmen on the show as a regular. I'd definitely take him over Taub; I'd rather have a non-degree'd guy who knows his stuff than a plastic surgeon.

Re: House: Season 4
I can never even remember Taub's name until someone says it. Then I forget it again almost instantly.
Nevertheless, it's a good team. Though it'd be good for the oldies to play a larger part in the show. I'm tired of seeing them occasionally in glorified guest spots, now I want them back on the show for good.

Re: House: Season 4
I don't get why they ended this arc so soon, they could have stretched the game out over the whole season. By having many underlings, it makes House look more like a Professor, which suits his personality style.
I'm not sure cut throat bitch is gone for good. They spent a lot of time humanizing her and making her interesting and in the end she wasn't fired for anything so bad that it would be inconceivable for her to return. Meanwhile Taub is just uninteresting and I don't see that changing no matter what quirks they give him.
13 is good and interesting but she's basically Cameron 2.0. I see no need for both 13 and Cameron.
If the strike ends and this season is ever concluded, I think it's possible CTB might return and by the season finale one of the already chosen 3 might be gone. Just a hunch.

I still contend that eventually, one of the main docs will be needing a team of his/her own. THat person could rehire CTB or one of the fired underlings. Or she'll come back just to wreak havoc! lol

Re: House: Season 4
Since there are 3 episodes left (apparently), and the show returns in January (beginning? in the end, after American Idol ends the 2-hour audition eps?)... the Super Bowl episode will either be the penultimate episode or the finale?

Re: House: Season 4
So apparently the Feb. 3 Post-Super Bowl episode will also center on who Wilson is dating. After House does some investigating, the person will be revealed in the end as someone familiar and a little bit shocking. My guess? Well, more like a fantasy...

I thought the exact same thing when I read that this morning. In fact, $10 says that's who it is.

Re: House: Season 4
I do believe that is the correct spoiler.
I spent all of Christmas break watching the first three seasons, which I had not seen before. House is incredible.

Re: House: Season 4
Good episode. Little odd to see a Christmas-themed episode on January 29, but whatever. I wonder if the donkey lady will stick around at all.
The Super Bowl episode looks good.

Re: House: Season 4
Yeah, that one and Mira Sorvino ep are supposed to air December, and they were planning a two-parter for the Super Bowl. Then the strike happened so they pushed all eps remaining and the Mira Sorvino one ended up being the Super Bowl ep.

Yeah, I definitely didn't know there was a new episode tonight until I read your guys' posts. Talk about a lack of advertising.

Re: House: Season 4
There was some advertising here (but considering there's a SUper Bowl episode, it's pretty ho-hum marketing) and it's funny how they completely hid the Christmas aspect.

Re: House: Season 4
I wasn't impressed. Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting a new episode, or maybe because it was I was apathetic to all the Xmas themed stuff, but I didn't really like this episode. I don't like the new team, either - they don't have the charm of the old crowd.

Re: House: Season 4
Heh, way to go House for confusing new viewers by NOT updating the main cast list, lol.
Anyway, well I see Jennifer Morrison actually having lines tonight, so that's promising.

Liked tonight's episode. Not the most new viewer friendly though, which is stupid on Fox's part. Mira Sorvino was great though.

Good call on whoever thought that it was Cutthroat Bitch who Wilson was dating.
Good episode. I am going to miss new episodes after Tuesday even though it would have gone on a hiatus until March anyways if there was no strike due to the two-hour American Idols.
