Post NBC Gives Chuck More Life.. or NBC Likes the Life of Chuck?
Whatever way you put it, NBC has renewed "Chuck" and "Life" for a full season, even with the ongoing strike.

No word on "Bionic Woman", which I'm guessing can't die fast enough!

I may have to give "Life" a second chance someday.

I really like Life (the show, not the experience of living) but have kind of stopped watching it cause I don't like its chances of getting a 2nd season and don't want to have much invested in the show like I did with the excellent Touching Evil. :(

As I said about Dirty Sexy Money, this really means nothing unless the strike ends, which I am not expecting.

Chuck was expected. It's still buzzed about.

Life, though... meh. I'd be less surprised if it had strong critical support or something, but as far as I know, it doesn't.

E!Online's Kristin said that NBC was not renewing Chuck until AFTER the strike, so now she's wondering if NBC knows something about the strike ending that we don't.

Then again, Kristin seems like a babbling baffoon, so what does she know?

Nikki Finke is saying that she hears that there's a deal worked out but it won't be finalized until sometime before Christmas, and not like NOW before Christmas. But I'm still not hopeful.

Chuck!! Yes happy about this renewal. Now the strike just needs to end so we can actually see the back order of nine episodes be produced.

excellent about chuck. i'm confident the show will come back for a second season since it's NBC's most successful show rating and critic wise

Great news on both accounts. I watched my first episode of Chuck tonight and I have to say that I was impressed with it, so I'm glad that when I go back to watch the previous episodes it won't be just for the hell of it. As for Life, it deserves it. It's a good show. It's not the show's fault that it has a complete piece of shit as it's lead in.
