The season premiere is September 27th. Apparently Shonda Rhimes is trying to take the show back to its roots as a dramedy series, and the first episode of the season is very comedic.

Here is what I don't get... Private Practice premiers before Grey's Anatomy. I don't understand how they're going to do the whole Addison leaving thing.

The Gizzie storyline has been scrapped after a whopping 95% of audiences polled said that they loathed the plot development.

Thank god. I screamed at my TV when they hooked up.

I FINALLY saw last season's finale tonight. And while it was sappy and way too crowded with plots, it freakin got me teary-eyed. Damn this show. I want to not like it but it pulls me in every time.

Love the fact the George, and not Alex, failed the intern test.
HATE the fact that Meredith sister is not only an intern now but supposedly McDreamy's new flame.
Love Sandra Oh. Period. Whatever they do with her. I love it.
HATE Izzie. Maybe she can do more movies or something so that she leaves the show.

Apparently they have no intention of putting these two together, thankfully, according to reliable behind-the-scenes sources.

And I know the third season gets a lot of criticism, but I still loved it and it plays better on DVD for sure. Sure, it's not as great as the second season (few shows could be), but there are some truly phenomenal episodes in the mix. I'm pumped for season four.

I'm pumped!. It honestly feels like yesterday were I was watching both season one and two in the summer trying ot get caught up and now its in its forth season, times flies.

GREY'S IS ON TONIGHT! YESSSSSSSSS

I'm not as excited as I was when last season premiered, but all indications seem to point to the show regaining its footing after stumbling badly at the second half of last season. So...yay.

I like it so far, pretty light..weird medical position sbut still, its fun.

Great episode, but that ending. I thought they were done with the Izzie and , fuck whats his name, T.R's character plot line.. ugh.

OK. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. That episode was everything Grey's should be: alternatingly poignant but not overwhelmingly gloomy, and funny and light.

Lexie Grey was really likeable and self-assured. In other news, Meredith can still be a big giant bitch. How shocking.

However, that ending: noooooooo! Shonda better make the Gizzie storyline end ASAP or I will scream.

My Tivo stopped recording just as Izzie opened the door for George. Did they kiss?! NNOO!!

Awesome episode. I seriously loved the Lexie and George scenes. Kill Callie, have Izzie go back to Alex or dig up Denny's corpse, and put George and Lexie together.

The 2 minutes I saw made me want to shoot myself.

I didn't like it. While it was nowhere near the horrendous season 3 premiere, I didn't like this not because of the episode itself but because I'm not liking where the show is going.

I just wasn't feeling the "change." It feels very awkward having new interns there.

George and Izzy... I don't hate it as much as the rest of you but yeah, I really don't see where they are going with that. It was a totally unnecessary path to follow. It would have been MUCH MUCH better if it was something Izzy wanted and couldn't have and had to deal. George and Cally's relationship should have been the one that lasted.

Lexi Grey: I feel the exact opposite of how Libs felt. VERY VERY annoying. Character AND actress! I really don't think we needed more family drama within the medical field.

I also don't like how they handled Burke's leave and Christina dealing. I thought it should have been more heavy than light.

Meredith was a bitch but honestly, after the mess they created with all the storylines, I really think she's turning out to be the best written character. She has flaws, she has issues and they're believable. All the other characters have turned into caricatures.

That being said, I didn't think the episode, on its own, was that bad. I just am losing hope in the direction they're taking this show.

I liked her sister. I thought she was a little forced, especially that speech so soon but she's cute. I just really hate the Gizzie relationship, it makes me so nervous and like I honestly felt like I heard a nationwide groan when they aired the preview for next week. We dont need it!!!!!!! I thought she was getting rid of it since the audience tests proved no one likes it.

Good premiere. The only thing I didn't like was George and Izzie's relationship.

Loved it last night. Chyler Leigh is surprisingly a solid addition to the cast.

liked the premiere but calling george "bambi" come on now. There is already a medical show called Scrubs with a character named bambi. Disappointing there.
