Heroes has like... 50 main characters. She'll get like 5 minutes of screen time. And then she'll die in a few episodes.

On Lost she could have 20+ minutes of screen time and die in a few episodes, but she'll get 4 times the amount of screen time on a better show.

Better career move than Heroes. Because Heroes is ass.

I was wondering why someone would make such a silly statement.

Kristen Bell on Heroes is awesome. And an awesome move for her career. As much as some, including myself, love her, "Veronica Mars" was obviously a low-rated series. So this is quite a good career move for her. I'm actually happy she's on Heroes and not Lost. Lost tends to get trigger happy with new characters.

Well, no matter what, she's not going to last long in Heroes either. This is a multi-episode arc, but not a regular cast gig. They said they managed to find some time to fit it into her schedule, so it doesn't sound like it's going to turn perm, either.

I actually agree with you. This is great exposure for her, and a good way to get her face out there before Forgetting Sarah Marshall comes out next summer and is the usual smash Judd Apatow hit

According to Michael Ausiello's interview with Kristen Bell, Kristen will be a part of 13 episodes of "Heroes." That's more than I thought she'd do.

DVD is out next week, WOOO.

They aired "Homecoming" on MOnday and I have no clue why they did not include that for their 6-episode submission for final voting at the Emmys.

Did they include "Company Man"? Because that was, bar none, the best episode of Heroes' first season. Jack Coleman was robbed of an Emmy nod.

Company Man was included, which is tremendous.

Their submissions:
Tape One:
"Godsend"
"The Fix"

Tape Two:
"Distractions"
"Run"

Tape Three:
"Unexpected"
"Company Man"

I'm going through Heroes right now (my last week of free rents at Blockbuster and I rented the whole series, heh). I'm late to this. I originally watched the first few episodes earlier this summer on the computer and really got into it but I decided not to watch the rest until DVD.

The casting additions is certainly, uh, odd. It'll be like a fantasy 15 hour Robert Altman movie.

How do you like it?

Despite my love for the final batch of Lost episodes last season, my favorite series airing currently still remains Heroes.

Though I definitely agree that there are simply way too many characters on the show this upcoming season...

It's a great show. I just finished it this morning.

I think the last episode could have been better, but I'm definitely excited for the next season.

I'm going through Heroes as well... right at this minute I'm watching Better Halves which is one of the few episodes I had seen.

This show is so uneven though.

I like Matt Parkman, but maybe that's just because I like Greg G.

I like Claire's story, the rape was actually surprising. The story is a little Buffy-esque so far.

Nicki and DL are okay. I hate Micah... the kid is just awful :(

Nathan Patrelli is annoying. Peter a little less. Simone has kind of disappeared over the last few episodes. She's one I do like.

I like Hiro and Ando but their relationship doesn't seem to evolve fast enough... Ando is a bit of a prick... I find it hard to believe that these guys are such close friends.

I like Mohinder but the dude playing him is just WAY too intense in ever scene.

All in all it's mostly enjoyable, but aside from the Claire story, hasn't really done anything for me so far. At least Claire is not as annoying as Buffy Summers.

What do you think about Jack Coleman as HRG (Mr. Bennet)? :D

Some of the heroes cast (Sylar Micah Ando and some new Ramirez chick) were on muchmusic today, they revealed the first episode is called "4 months later", and it's not till episode 8 that we find details of what happened immediately after the Sylar thing.

Also that Ramirez chick's power was clued as "you don't want to make her cry" So her tears will be rivers or something I'm guessing.

I'm half way through the first season, I have to go back to Blockbuster to rent the rest. There are to many character but it's like XMEN, but they all get enough screen time and their stories somewhat develop all at the same rate. My favorutie character so far is Hiro, Peter Peterelli and Claire.

Some girl named Shelley Matiss will be joining the second season cast. Together with Diana Ramirez her storyline will take part in Mexico. It's not major news but I found it interesting that it's been not reported yet. One cast member let it slip in an interview during the World Tour.

What the fuck? So they seriously introduced a character on the comics, had her come in for like two episodes just to be a plot convience in order for Parkman and Exploding guy to meet up and go after Mr. Bennett, and then dies in the comics too? God the screenwriters are lazy.

Yeah, I read that a while ago. Bad screenwriting on that part.
