Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 2
Ugh...I wish they would show what happened to Niki already. Mohinder has way too much screentime this episode.

No, seriously. Where is Niki? Is Ali Larter off the show or something? I'd rather see her than Moyawnder.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 2
I'm seriously annoyed. Why the hell haven't they brought her back yet? I can't believe that the second episode is almost over and she still hasn't shown up.
Ali Larter is still a member of the cast, so I don't know what's going on.

Good episode, but not great. The best stuff still easily involves Claire, followed by Peter.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 2
Hello, Lizard Claire. I suppose it's cool to know that she can, you know, regrow limbs and crap if she were to have her arm severed or something. Since they never showed her severed toe...are we to presume Mr. Muggles ate it? Because...ew? Too bad her creeptastic stalker/love interest (what the hell is with his Peeping Tom crap? it's extremely creepy) saw the whole thing from the window. I guess he'll have to tell her he flies.
Oh, and Kensei must be Claire's ancestor. I think that's where that storyline is headed.
Maya and Alejandro are completely boring and superfluous so far. I hope they develop personalities.
The episode was good, but the best parts? When Milo Ventimiglia was shirtless. I'm just gonna put that out there.

Like Wolverine (don't forget Kring liberally steals from other series/comics/movies) those who regenerate don't really age/die as their genetic code replenishes itself. West has the same power as Nathan, so it's kind of established that the same powers can exist in others. I also think Kensei is probably the thing that's killing the older "heroes". Quote: The episode was good, but the best parts? When Milo Ventimiglia was shirtless. I'm just gonna put that out there. He looks so much more... adult this season. This season hasn't really taken off yet. It's kind of unexciting. Maybe it's because Nikki is missing, maybe because we're still living in the gimmick of those missing months. Comments: - I find the whole Hiro story fairly predictable. I had a sinking suspicion while watching the series that he *was* Kensai... and I'm slightly unsurprised at the way it's been turning out. I really hope they give this story a slight bit of breathing room... Hiro in romantic situations seems to work. - The Haitian BETTER be somehow involved in Peter's amnesia... like wouldn't it be cool if Peter took the power and made himself forget something utterly horrendous. Becuase if it's *just* fricken amnesia, I will lose it. - The Maya story needs to pick up pretty soon. - Still think DL is dead.

Yep, baba's right. Only the stories of the two families (Bennetts + Petrellis) are interesting at all. Parkman is fine since he's investigating the murder. But the Mohinder stuff has to go, the twins' story is utterly useless, and I hope Nikki never comes back.

Hmm....not the first time I've agreed with baba....something fishy is going on. You're reading my mind aren't you? looks like it i've always been horrible with names but for me, heroes is all about Claire (who was annoying but in my opinion, still integral) Claire's dad New Flying dude Nathan Peter Mr. Mind Reader Hiro (though seriously, i will never understand why anyone would ever want to introduce timetravel. It is annoying ... the person can go back and merely change everything.) And thats it. Everyone else sucks. Except Sylar.

Finally seen the second episode.
I agree with andaroo. The season just really hasn't taken off yet. Interesting developments here and there, but on the whole rather unimpressing. The siblinbgs, Maya and Alejandro are boring as hell. What's the point of them in the series?!
Claire's story is still the most interesting one, followed by Peter's.
Sylar needs to return ASAP!

I found the first two episodes pointless and boring. I recorded them and when watching them later had to fast forward through parts it was just so dull.

Re: The "Heroes" Thread: Season 2
What I think Heroes needs is a solid season 2 plotline. Right now theyre all doing their own step by step little plotlines, all on their own, but its just coming off kind of useless. The show needs a common goal to bring them together. I wouldve had season 2 revolving around them joining the old Takei Heroes HQ camp, start training and organizing their work, doing jobs together to save people. Like the X-Men camp. Then you can slowly put the season 2 plotline into place(Mollys evil thing/Sylar/hooded killer), create conflicts between the characters, show them recruiting and looking for new heroes, etc. You could even had standalone episodes in there. Some of the best episodes last year were pretty standalone on the Heroes barometer, Sylars past, Hiro and the Charlie waitress, the future episode. They just really need to clamp down on not only the characters, but the storylines too.
But I think itll pick up. Really its just the finale and first two episodes of this season that havent been totally stellar, it hasnt been a long stretch.

weak episode again. The claire storyline is annoying the hell out of me. Half the episode should be hiro and the the other half about the petrelli's.

Maya and Alejandro are this season's Nikki and Paolo for me. I hated those two on Lost, and I hate M/A here. Their storyline is so dull.

I think this episode was the best so far, maybe because Sylar was back. And I knew Candince was a guy heh.
