Guess what, guys

I'm going to try to watch Seasons 1 and 2 of The Office on DVD (and then Season 3 online, I guess, if NBC offers it) so I can start watching it next season!

I can now, because the only other show it conflicts with is Grey's (unlike when it was at 8, where it conflicted with both Survivor and Ugly Betty)

yourtvlinks.com Amazing website, i didnt start actually watchin the office til episode 11 of this season. but i caught myself up within a matter of days before the episode aired.

First, I never liked Ryan on the show.

Second, Jim + Pam! wooooot!

Third, had Michael left the office? Egaddd.

The episode wasn't that funny, but I love what it set up for next season.

Dude, you actually think Ryan is gone?

Not the funniest episode of the season, but definitely one of the best overall. Can't wait to see what happens with Jan.

And that ending...oh god. "Nothing...you and me are through." The shit-eating grin on his face sold it.

The Jam hook-up probably could've been handled better, but I did love the giant smile that sprung from Pam's face when Jim asked her out.

And the Stanley Nickel...priceless.

Finale definitely never reached the heights of last season's Casino Night, and probably wasn't even the best episode this season. But still a great episode.

Great, fitting Jim & Pam moment at the end. Felt entirely right.

Schrute bucks/Stanley nickels, hilarious.

it almost felt like a series finale more than a season finale

I liked it, but I felt they left too much unresolved. Like, what happened to Karen? Jim just left her in New York, by the looks of it. And she didn't even get the job. She really got screwed over.

When did Ryan have his job interview? Would have liked to see that. Final scene was brill.

Most of the episode had me in stitches: Jan's boob job, Jim + Karen's banter, Dwight taking over, Pam mocking him, Andy sucking up, Jan going crazy, Michael being Michael. All classic stuff. And the Jim/Pam scene had me smiling. Hope they don't fuck it up.

Definitely not as good as Casino Night, though.

Nothing could've been as good as Casino Night was. That saying, tonight's episode was a great finale. I also really liked what they did with Ryan at the end (He isn't going anywhere), even though it was never explained that he was running. I guess we're just meant to assume that he already had the interview, or they just looked at a list and went with the next qualified guy on it. They didn't go to the expected sellout of having Karen get the job and that's how the two would split. And the second to last scene with Jim and Pam made the episode priceless for me simply because of the smile on her face.

I've said before, but I'll say it again. I cannot wait for this season to come out on DVD.

Jenna Fischer deserves an Emmy nom for last night's episode alone, p.s.

So does Melora Hardin. I thought she was the MVP of the episode. "So long, A[BLEEEP] [BLEEP]" :hahaha:

Terrific episode. The Pam and Jim resolution, the reveal of who got the job, Michael and Jan, Dwight's power trip... everything was note perfect.

So does most of the cast. Too bad they won't get them.

Brilliant, sure I;ll agree with Jmart that Casino Night was better, but that was as good as I think they could have made it, just perfect.

I think Karen gave Jim an ultimatum, she bluntly said we have no future in Scranton, so even if neither of them got the job, clearly you wouldn't want to stay there with Pam there, so Jim really had to make a choice at that point.

Brilliant episode. Just perfect.

Not entirely hilarious, but some funny moments (Schrute dollar/Stanley nickel, Jan's boob job, etc.) and, of course...

JIM AND PAM <3333333.

Watched the finale yesterday. Really good finale. I loved how simple and effective it was when Jim asked Pam to dinner. It wasn't this big ending where he grabbed her and kissed her (which is not at all a knock at last season's finale, it's more of a knock at shows that go for the big kiss at the end of a finale, like you'd see on "Friends"). Very nice ending. Jenna did a great job with the big smile on her face. It looked real. There are a lot of great, awards-worthy actors on the show. Carell, Krasinski, Fischer, Hardin, Rainn. They're all great.

Now... is Ryan taking Jan's job? That seemed weird. I wonder if something will happen that Jan gets her job back, because I don't see Jan staying in the storyline as Michael's girlfriend, since we rarely see the outside lives of The Office employees.

According to iMDB news, Jenna will take 12 weeks to fully recover. Will she be unable to work on The Office for a while? That would suck, considering she has such an important part on the show when it comes back.

BJ Novak said in some interview that next season will be interesting with Ryan now as Michael's boss. My guess? Based on nothing. Maybe Ryan lied on his resume about something important to get the job and will get caught eventually. Seems like something he might do. I don't know what they will do with Jan.

The show reportedly goes back to filming in August, she should be better by then hopefully but it might be close.

Also, BJ said that they are going to handle the whole issue of the summer differently than they did last year when they basically just skipped over it and stayed in real time. I'm not sure what he means, whether they will pick up where they left off or somehow might have a bunch of flashbacks for a while. Could be either.

I guess they'll show us what happens. Maybe the premiere will be an hour long, mixed with present day and stuff from the summer.

ryan is about to graduate from business school and will have an MBA, you dont need to be a good sales person to be a good manager.

I was just trying to figure how they might handle it, seems unlikely Ryan will stay successful as his character generally has humor coming from bad things happening to him. About the resume idea, he went nights to a craptastic small town no name university. Maybe he lied and said it was an mba from somewhere good.
