Was Carrie's "Fuck you, Saul" a few episodes ago anger about... Probably just for the audience at home, and they probably want you to not focus on that. But I'm sure they would give the reason of sticking to the plan. It couldn't have been being in hospital for too long because by that point she hadn't been in hospital all that long. I mean, she was in the hospital for a while. It was at least a month or so. That's how I interpreted it.

Algren wrote: It was undoubtedly a twist. It's just that Internet wise guys don't want to appear stupid by being honest. I didn't see it coming and I thought it worked very well. The first four episodes were not useless at all. This is about the CIA and the lengths their operatives will go to uncover (and gain evidence on) the truth. It's riveting stuff. I'm glad the producers are finding new ways to please its audience, and I'm pleased that a portion of their audience is simply pre-programmed to dislike anything after the first two seasons and will come up with such bullshit to believe it. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't feel the first four episodes were useless at all. It's especially annoying because the biggest complaint about this season thus far has been the lack of direction and then when it's finally revealed that there WAS a direction it was going in this entire time everyone jumps on it for cheating the audience. So stupid.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
I thought it was great. The ending was incredibly intense. I don't see how anyone could complain about the final ten minutes or so. Also Morgan Saylor was great in her scenes tonight. Haters be damned

ok I gave in.
Can I consider this the season premiere? this episode shows how shitty Homeland was before this.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
It was a seriously great episode.
It's funny because the scene where Dana left with the cops took place in Syracuse (where I live) and it couldn't look less like Syracuse if it tried LOL

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
Oy @ all the theatrics over Dana Brody and her Terrible Boyfriend. I'm starting to become Over It, show. Although I did like the interesting dynamics at work in the scene between Carrie and Jessica. Damian Lewis can't possibly be campaigned for lead actor this season, can he? He's only been in one episode. The ending was very suspenseful. Can't wait to see what happens with Carrie and her Iranian contact. movies35 wrote: It's funny because the scene where Dana left with the cops took place in Syracuse (where I live) and it couldn't look less like Syracuse if it tried LOL Accurate location setting has never been a strong point of Homeland's. I live in northern Virginia, where the show predominantly takes place, and they do a pretty terrible job making it resemble the D.C. area.

I finally caught up and I'm liking this season so far. Ep 1 & 2 were a bit of a bore but I loved Tower of David and the ending of last night's episode was just fantastic.

Homeland is officially as bipolar as Carrie.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
I'm sorry if I can't call an incredibly tense, brutal hour with quite a few shocks and surprises as well as a Dana subplot that was actually believable and engaging mediocre.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
I thought it was a good episode, but not one of the best or anything. It was mainly filler. I'm hoping that Dana is going to be MIA for awhile now.

I really liked last nights episode. It was great to see Danes finally not crying in an episode (was that the first one?) and the ending scene with Saul was just badass.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
Yeah, it was a really good episode. Carrie's role on the inside was rather short lived, although I'm not sure how much they could've gotten out of that anyway. Mandy Patinkin is terrific this season...I feel like he has the case to submit himself as lead at the Emmys.
The scene where Javadi killed the women was very brutal.
I kinda can't believe they went there and made Carrie pregnant, though. Although, THANKFULLY, based on the timeline of the show...it's not Brody's baby. Has to be that rando she hooked up with a few episodes ago. Right? Or am I wrong? Ugh, Homeland, please don't make it Brody's baby.

He has a better shot at winning on the supporting category. But yes, he's kind of the lead now and at this point they shoulda just killed Brody in the finale. What's the point of bringing him back for one episode lol.

Brody's back and plays a big part in the last few episodes of the season.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
All momentum the show picked up in the last few episodes was lost tonight because of how boring it was. Such a filler episode.

It seems very purposeful after the back half of season 2 had so many things going on at once. Homeland is now not as good as show as it once was, but I'm still along for the ride.

 Re: "Homeland" (Season 3)
I'm so happy that my once favorite show on the air has basically become a glorified soap opera. Thank god Masters of Sex is on after or Sunday night television would suck.
