YAY! EW just reviewed this season of DH so far and gives it an A-!! Like most of us, they're loving Dana Delaney and all of the "invigorated" cast, writing, and directing.

So just about the best episode of the season. Teri and Felecity were fantastic, especially Felecity at the end on the grass.

Damnit.. just when I think Gabby and Victor might have a chance, Edie ruins it. Please, PLEASE.. stop this damn annoying Gabby and Carlos storyline.

Re: The "Desperate Housewives" Thread: Season 4
Hmm... I don't know. It fell kind of flat tonight. Alot of the parts were great but there was just no cohesion among any of the storylines and it didn't flow all that well.
Danielle showing up at the party as Bree was hilarious and the last scene was pretty well done. Where is she off to though? That Florida college?
Susan's story was probably the strongest. Loved how serious it started getting. Reminded me of the darkness of season 1 susan-mike.
Gabrielle's storyline is getting very tired. I'm also getting annoyed at how inconsistently her character is written. Most of the time she's this superficial money-grubbing slut and she admits to it but like every once in a while she suddenly has some morals or sees the "good" in people. If they kill off Victor, I will be utterly pissed. I want him off the show but enough with the deaths; they are so unnecessary.
Lynette: I thought hers this time around was so random and unneeded. What was with that possum? I don't think any of the analogies or parallels they were trying to go for worked (a t least on me) and if that's the end of her cancer story, I'm kinda disappointed... that was too quick a fix.

Re: The "Desperate Housewives" Thread: Season 4
You didnt get the possum? The possum symbolized the cancer, obviously. The poison, the cage didnt keep the possum out just like the cancer wouldnt go away. Until, it gets killed. Her life was sapred, to kill the possum. When the possum died it represented the cancer going away.
I agree with Gabby, I thought about it more today. Agian, she needs to pick one. Victor is rarely on so no one really cares, but the storline is weak. Susan was maybe the best though, of a storyline, it got really serious and Teri was great.
And of course, Bree's daughter going as her, was brilliant.

Mark Cherry was just on ET, they interviewed him because he was at the strike. He says that a tornado whips through the town and it'llbe a while (due to the strike) until we find out who died.. Thoughts??

According to rumors: A twister touches down on the Dec. 2 episode. And when the dust settles, at least two characters will be dead.

I'm sorry but that sounds like one of the most random/stupidest things I've ever heard.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY FEEL THEY HAVE TO KILL OFF PEOPLE. WHY????? I won't take ratings as an answer.

Re: The "Desperate Housewives" Thread: Season 4
I didn't know Wisteria Lane is located near the Gulf or Oklahoma.
Heh Im all for killing off people but natural disasters are too much of a cop out. If Bree suddenly snaps and blows up Melrose Place... err Wisteria, that I would enjoy more.
But of course I have to wait until I actually see the episode so I can properly judge it.

It's pretty much confirmed everywhere that the Dec. 2 episode with involve a twister hitting Wisteria Lane. I have yet to read who dies because I don't want to know before I see the episode, but if I had to guess maybe they will kill off Victor? I doubt any of the main housewives will die.

Actually I think it's about time they get rid of someone. Sunday's episode was one of the darkest in a while. I love it!!

OK, one of the deaths is 100% obvious... And the other is open to debate.

Are they recurring? lol The first people that came to my mind were Lynette and Tom because of that one episode with the baseball game... but that was a work thing. for some reason, I have Lynette pegged as this baseball fan... don't know why. But no way in hell they'd get rid of either Lynette or Tom. Killing off a child would make the show SOOOOOO much more interesting. I don't mean to sound like I hate kids because it's the complete opposite but I've always found the loss of a child to be one of the most compelling and darkest subject areas. And, uhh... they do have ALOT of kids, lol. But I don't think they'd go there.
How about McClusky?
Obviously victor's gonna go sooner or later. Or Carlos. It's gonna be one of Gabrielle's men... I have no doubt. It's also my prediction (I was telling my best friend about a month ago) that Mike will be killed off by the time Housewives wraps. I was originally thinking end of this season, but now I'm thinking sometime in the 5th or 6th season.

Re: The "Desperate Housewives" Thread: Season 4
In terms of the deaths... I would think the "male recurring" death is obviously Victor. Ausellio hinted the other death is a recurring female, which is harder to say. Lynette's mom?
