Why did this week's episode begin 30 minutes late? I tuned in during the middle, thinking I just missed the opening, and it was over in 25 minutes...

Bad night for Sansa. The best I can do for her say is say it was even worse in the books. I imagine she and LF are done. That scheming mofo! He and Cersei belong together.

Sansa did have several chances to get out of this though. She trusted someone notably untrustworthy, and greatly overestimated her own ability to manipulate people.

I missed The Mannis.

I'm not loving this season. And the Sand Snakes suck.

The amount of likable characters is at an all time low right now. All I want to watch lately is Stannis, Jon Snow and Sansa(so really, just the stuff happening in the north). Poor Sansa. I hope she kills the shit out of him.

I can't at CEsersei slaying Margaery like that.... If I only didn't know the end of the story.

Alsoyes,to whoever said Littlefinger and Cersei belong together is 100% right.

Keisha Castle-Hughes is honestly atrocious on this show - her monologues are so stilted and awful. I hate the Sand Snakes and every time they show up it drags.

Were they ever that great though? I remember Arianne, Doran and Areo Hotah being the only Dornish characters I cared about in Feast/Dance.

The Dornish were boring in the book and show anyhow. The only good thing is I hope Trystane replaces Quenton and becomes dragon kebob since I can't stand his character so far.

My one gripe is that this season so far has never mentioned anything on the Freys. They were the catalyst that set into motion the Red Wedding. I hope it gets covered next season along with having Wyman Manderly.

Littlefinger is only out for himself. I think he will screw Cersei as well.

I know. Its a complete overeaction. We have two extreme ends this week. First it was the Mad Max movie where "men's right" group claiming it was feminist propaganda and now this week how Game of Thrones is anti-feminist when half the characters in the show are women in powerful positions.

King Tommen is a weak child. How he just let his wife, the Queen get taken away like that. That testimony could have easily been discounted even though it was true. He could have got that information from someone who bathed Ser Loras for heavens sakes.

Sansa still lakes that resolve to stand up. I think she could work people over if she tried but she just let Ramsey control her just because he is now her husband. She still has the power here as long as she's alive.

I still think things are just moving to freaking slow. Tyrion hasn't reached Dany, Snow is sailing I guess, Dorne side quest happening, no dragon action and a weak ass King in King's Landing.

I was at first confused by the outrage, thinking it was just feminists overreacting as they like to do. I think I can see their point now. Rape is common in the Thrones world, but they really didn't have to show Sansa, a recently empowered woman, get it like that so uncomfortably. Could've ended that scene a few minutes earlier. Plus, instead of progressing her own storyline, Sansa is now just a tool in Theon's redemption storyline, stripping away all her dark Sansa coolness as swiftly as Ramsay stripping away her knickers.

Although I'm not to happy with the way the show is veering away from the books like removing a few characters and killing off people who are still alive in the book, the Sansa change isn't that big of a deal.

First off the show needs a new Joffrey in the long run and they just did that with Ramsey. The scene itself would have been worse and it happens offscreen. Its no better than the bastard killings done by Joffrey and that happened offscreen too.

I don't know why they are overeacting to this bit when they were watching the same show where Dany gets raped by Drogo in the wedding night, Ned killing his own direwolf, Lysa breastfeeding her 7 year old kid, the Kings Landing bastard killing, and Robb's pregnant wife being stabbed. They chose this particular moment to get upset.

Once again, I don't think its the rape itself, but who got raped and when it happened. Like how people got all upset about Jaime and Cersei last year. It wasn't that it was a brother forcing himself on his sister lover, thats normal, its that it made Jaime's hero-arc come to an abrupt halt. Everyone wanted to like Jaime and its hard to do that when he's having sex with his sister, especially when she doesn't want it. Sansa had come so far from King's Landing, physically and spiritually, only to find herself the same helpless little girl. If Jeyne Pool had been raped, and even "prepared" by Theon as in the books, it would be just be another day in Westeros.

This will go away when Ramsay gets his by the end of the season.

Spoiler: show
Not! Jon and Stannis are both dying and Ramsay will cackle. Theon and Sanda on the run will be season 6, maybe taking Davos' Skagos storyline?

Its not as though Jaimie was still noble when he was on his way to redemption. Did you forget what he tried to do in Feast of Crows?

Spoiler: show
He threatened to catapult Edmure Tully's new born kid into the air if Edmure refused to reason with Brendan Tully and the troops during Riverun seige?

Sansa's arc was very boring in the books too and she had really done nothing worthwhile. True that the rape happened to an important character but then again they are trying to conglomerate several characters into one.

Spoiler: show
Yes indeed - Jon has to live. They've been alluding to R+L=J way too much recently to just kill Jon off. Though I suspect he'll be stabbed and left for dead this season and then resurrected somehow next season.

By ending on a downer like that with Jon - they'll balance it out with Dany riding Drogon.

The question is which way they'll go on the battle of Winterfell - hopefully Stannis/Sansa/Theon will leave the audience with something positive at season's end.

I'm with you mask, just saying that for once I can kind of understand where the feminists are coming from.

And

Spoiler: show
Yeah Jon will most likely return after his abrupt death. But the show really hasn't built up on all the Stark children being wargs, it's just Bran. So maybe he just survives the mutiny rather than uploading his conscious into Ghost? Stanns is definitely going down though. He's been far too honorable this season. Brienne will cut him in half.

I doubt Brienne will cut Stannis in half. That would be too cliche. Even most of the people on Arya's shit list was not killed by her hand and Oberyn never got his revenge on the Mountain. Then again this is D&D's version of things not George RR Martin.

I hope that Stannis doesn't get killed because every other two season, there is a big battle scene "Blackwater" and "Castleblack". I think next season would be the battle for Winterfell between the Boltons and Baratheons. Winds of Winter covers an excerpt for the battle.

if Stannis dies it won't be by Brienne. I think it would be more likely by Littlefinger or the Boltons.
