I just rewatched the first 2 episodes with people who have never seen the show. So crazy to see the interactions between everyone then.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
I've enjoyed all four episodes so far, but I'm waiting for something to click into place. Something's missing. I don't know if it's a key storyline pushing forward or a BIG MOMENT but the season feels just decent so far. Maybe it's because the threat of something happening early on was muted by the episode leaks, which indicated that nothing major happened (except for Episode Four's death, which was hardly a major death, just an unfortunate one).
I laughed when Grey Worm's helmet came off, so we knew the only potential death of a mid-level character was visible to all.
The Stannis scene was excellent, though it felt crow-barred in, as though it will only serve to set up something in the near future. Gave a little depth to the character though.

Oh, and the Sand Snakes' intro was less-than-compelling. Obara's mini-monologue felt forced.

Oh, and one last thing: I'm proposing a spinoff series for Jaime. "Beauty, Brains and Bronn"

Tonight's episode seemed a bit of a slow, extraneous stopgap to me.

I thought the Jon's scenes were great, but he has been the star of this season so far.

They gave the whole Jon Connington plot to Jorah Mormont it seems. I'm guessing no young Griffon then

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Aww poor Jorah. At least he gets Barristan and Connington's plotlines before he dies. I'm OK with no Aegon. The show has done well in condensing characters. Although Arianne could have taken the place of all three sand snakes... Especially since they seem destined to take out Bronn. I'm also predicting that Sansa's maid is a triple agent actually working for Ramsay. I had hoped they would avoid Dany's marriage since they're changing everything else. Ugh. Give Tyrion or Stannis The Mannis the dragons. I loved the mirror scenes of the Boltons this week. The first, where Ramsay starts off looking like a normal human with his commoner girlfriend, then showing his sadistic side. The second has Roose start off as sadistic, raping Ramsay's mother under the hanging body of her husband, but then turns it into a story about being a good father. A rarity in Westeros! Brienne's "I serve her still" line might be as prophetic as Aemon's rant about Dany not having any family left. LS will appear at some point.

Game of Thrones, as a series, is The Walking Dead Season 2.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
Not enough happened for me in this episode or at least nothing really captivating. We got nothing of Dorne this time, a little bit of Sansa, some of Snow and none of the Lannisters.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
This season is definitely the slowest thus far. Very little has happened with any of the storylines since the start of the season.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, I've enjoyed every episode, but here's hoping the later episodes have some big moments.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 5
I guess another controversial episode. I don't know how it will rank against Red Wedding and Mountain vs Oberyn as being the most talked about. Its probably more surprising because everything is changed from the books
