This was the first episode in a long time where I actually had almost no complaints (other than the Blaine hairgel storyline). Great episode.

I wasn't a huge fan of the song selections but other than that it was a good episode.

Post Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
I have just caught up in the past day on the last three episodes, and I have to say it's been very good.

Random thoughts:

* Blaine has become much more appealing lately after losing his appeal for a while this season. Especially loved him in the Whitney episode.

* "Shake It Out" number was really good. Didn't even mind the domestic abuse storyline. Wasn't nearly as cheesy as it could have come off.

* Lea Michele was great in the episode "Choke." Actually felt really bad for Rachel. She did a terrific job with "Cry."

* Puck singing "School's Out" was pretty cringe-worthy.

* Rachel looked gorgeous at prom. It was a very nice episode.

Am excited for the finale. It will actually be kind of sad. Wonder what the hell is planned for next season.

No. It still has 3 episodes left. Unless FOX is planning to air all three episodes next week.

Amber Riley might be leaving after the end of the season according to her Twitter.

I was thinking next week's was a 2-part finale or something.

Pretty obvious what this means, but Lea Michele was in NYC filming scenes for this all last week.

I'm thrilled that there are two songs by one of my favorite songwriters in the 5/15 Nationals episode (Though, they aren't my favorite songs of his).

Whew, this episode was depressing. It was actually pretty good, though. Lea Michele really sold "Cry." Puck flunking his test was actually kind of sad (lol). And Beiste's storyline, which could have been as preachy as things on this show always are, worked because of Dot-Marie Jones.

Dot-Marie Jones did a good job with the material. But, I didn't like that two of the most verbally abusive women on the show were trying to counsel Coach Beiste. That part really didn't work for me.

Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker are both joining the show for multi-episode arcs in the upcoming fourth season (which will now be on Thursdays at 9). Hudson will be appearing in at least six episodes (some news outlets are reporting eight) and Parker's exact episode count is unknown at this point.

It was also confirmed this morning that the series will be taking place in both NYC and Lima, Ohio next season.

I'm interested in seeing both as guest stars.

I skipped and probably won't watch the body-swap episode because...just no... (also "Cougar Town" was on), but the episode with nationals was actually really solid (with the exception of Unique).

I'll finish this season but JEEZ that prom episode just made me think why do I bother.

"Props" and "Nationals" were actually two of the season's best episodes. They both had a spark and heart that the show has been missing for a while.

I wouldn't entirely agree but yeah. The spark was there.

I actually preferred the body swap episode. It was done in Glee S1 way, so it worked. The Nationals were slightly boring. The judges this year weren't nearly as funny as before. The song choices were horrible. And the drag kid was a distasteful thing I thought.

Watched the body-swap episode and was very pleasantly surprised to see that it only encompassed about five minutes of the actual running time and wasn't horribly handled. The episode was actually great - I also thought it was the better of the two episodes that aired last night. Especially loved the scenes between Rachel and Tina in the car and then the incredibly well-acted moment with Mark Salling in the locker room.

This show has now had three great episodes in a row. Don't remember the last time that was the case. Makes me a lot more excited for the finale next week.

I don't care what anyone says, this show has really been hitting them out of the park lately. I think it's up to Season 1 quality personally, especially with the last two episodes. Both were great, with the last one being amazing, IMO. I'm even back to being a Rachel fan like I was the first season. Lea Michele has been really terrific. I'm excited for the season finale. Way to end the season with a bang! (This is assuming the last one is great too, and I'm willing to bet it will be.)

Man do I hope next season can keep it up. It will be fun seeing Rachel, Finn, and Kurt in New York.

According to rumours, Glee will have another Britney tribute episode on the second episode of the next season.

It smells like a deal Brit's team did with Fox when signing that X Factor contract

I'm getting a little sick of all the interviews and such with the cast acting like tonight's episode is the series finale or something ;) However, I am curious about who will be returning next season as series regulars.

But things will definitely be changing. I'm sure most will be back, but they won't be filming a bunch of scenes together in the choir room anymore. ;)

There have been so many interviews where the cast is bawling like they are never going to see each other again though :P I guess if the rumor about Dianna Agron leaving is true I can understand for her, but the others have no excuse ;)

I'm glad the finale has American Idol for a lead-in. Should give it a nice little boost.
