Scream is a classic, Scream 2 isn't as good, but I can still have fun with it. Scream 3 was pretty crappy besides the finale and I was really enjoying Scream 4 up until the reveal. This show isn't even on the same level as Scream 3 IMO and I keep trying to give it chances, but its hard to finish. Maybe later I'll give it another shot, but for now I'm done.

You need to divorce this from the films or its hard to enjoy. Even then id say its better than Scream 3.

This garbage show returns at the end of the month and to "build hype" MTV released the first 7 minutes of the premiere online - they are so awful it would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic:
What the fuck. This is the cheapest, most poorly acted show on television.

Re: MTV Developing "SCREAM" TV Series
I watched the first three episodes of the first season and then deleted the rest from my DVR in its initial airing. I thought it was terrible. I was sure I deleted the show from my shows to record but it turned out I didn't and when they marathoned it before the new season started they all showed up on my DVR again. For some reason I decided to give it another shot and while I almost quit again after the fourth episode as it was still terrible to me I ended up trying another. And to my surprise it started to get better. I ended up watching the rest of the first season and now I'm watching the second. I'm embarrassed to say I watch it because it's not a good show exactly, but I find it entertaining. A guilty pleasure. This will for sure be the last season though as ratings are abysmal this season.

Ew.
I'm glad this is tanking this season. Should have never been renewed in the first place.

It shouldn't be a guilty pleasure. If you like it, you like it.

Yeah, guilty pleasure is a weird term, but it fits this series. I do not actually feel guilty. But I watch it, I enjoy it, yet I know that it is not very good.

Re: "Scream" (MTV)
The two-hour Halloween special airs on October 18th and the show has been renewed for a six-episode third season.

If you enjoy it, then it's good. You and all the other "guilty pleasure" brigade can go and fuck themselves.
