If I don't watch Housewives tonight, I'll find out what happened before I get a chance because practically everyone I know/work with watches it.

First off, it doesn't matter if you watch Family Guy or not unless you are a Neilson family. the ratings are only based on a few thousand random people (represnting the 40+ million viewers).
I am going to tape Family Guy, watch Housewives and Anatomy and then watch Family Guy at 11.

despite having downloaded it already I'm still gonna watch it tonight over DH. I'll download DH later. FG is gonna cut into DH ratings, I think GA poses a good shot @ #1 for the night,

I doubt it, the audiences could not be less different.
Housewives will most likely maintain its usual ratings, but Family Guy will still do well.

Grey's Anatomy. And if DH falls, so does GA.

Exactly. GA could and will do well without the Housewives, but certainly not as well without it. Same for House. It will survive without Idol as the lead-in, but it will probably be down in "24"'s level in the ratings, or slightly better.

Any series that exploits the many (and I mean MANY) FOX failures from the past six years is great in my book.

Should I combine this with "American Dad!" or just keep this as its own separate thread? Perhaps we don't need an American Dad thread?

That was the greatest half hour of television I've seen in a very, very, VERY long time.

It was very funny...but...it felt...kinda...weird. Like I don't know how to explain it. It didn't feel like Family Guy for some reason.

I just didn't like how the entire episode was based around a pop-culture reference.
