Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
I was grossed out by what appeared to be Robin making out with a very young actor in her flashback.
Other than that it was an average, solid episode. It was funny seeing Ted get angry, he played that well.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Aw! Cute episode.
So Lily and Marshall decided not to have a baby yet. Since Alyson Hannigan is preggers, I'm not sure I see that lasting.
Barney's whole routine ("Who's not your baby's daddy"?) was funny.
Also, I loved Robin being terrified of babies, as well as her shocked reaction when Lily mentioned that "dinner was a baby." I wish Cobie Smulders (and the entire cast, frankly) would be recognized come Emmy time in addition to NPH.
And that was totally the dad from The Wonder Years as Marshall's boss!

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Ha I have known so many "woo girls" in my life. This episode represented them perfectly.
Is there going to be a Thanksgiving episode of HIMYM this season? Because that's usually when the infamous "slap bet" makes its return in some way.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
We understand. You've known woo girls. Like I have a "friend" who posts on forums too much, and Tony has a "buddy" who is a cop. Fun episode, I liked them adding Ted after the woo girls in the subtitle scene.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Haha this episode was hysterical.
As much as The Naked Man would never work on any self-respecting woman (2 out of 3, my ass), it provided a lot of laughs.
I loved the list of 50 reasons to have sex.
I'm disappointed there were no references to Slap Bet, since this would've been the episode/time frame they would have had one.

Very funny tonight. Didn't so much care for the "woo" girls episode, though.

Loved it as well. This show is definitely only of the highlights in comedy for the last couple of seasons.

Awesome episode. Wonder how many people will try the Naked Man over the holidays And they set a date for the Goat: May, 8th 2009 (why's they go for a friday? I expected it to be a day they show an episode)

Naked Man, Great Episode.
Well the episode showed the 2 possible results - sure why not or get out perv.
Think maybe some should try this out in Vegas, LOL!

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Last night's episode was hilarious yet again.
I loved:
-Barney tuning out of conversations and responding only with titles of black sitcoms from the 80s ("What's happening?") -Robin being intensely turned on by guys in fights -Ted contemplating how much reading/working out he could get done in prison -Marshall's light saber/and the fact that Jason Segel finally got a much-needed haircut -Lily's kindergarten class calling both Marshall and Ted wusses

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
The last cutaway to Marshall and his brothers fighting had me having harder than I've laughed at a TV show since the "Rosemary's Baby" episode of 30 Rock.
Good episode, overall. I'm really liking it this season.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
amazing. I seriously love this show.
Sometimes I do think that it tries to be very Seinfeld but it succeeds most of the time.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Definitely this episode was one of the highlights of this season for now. While I still think this season is no match for previous three, the last couple of episodes have been much better than the start.

Interesting that I thiunk I saw that Big Bang beat Mother by alittle.
Guess America likes the Blonde babe and the geeks over the Mother gang.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
BBT has been marginally ahead of HIMYM in viewers, but HIMYM has been whopping BBT's ass in the demo by a nice margin.
Everybody knows bucks are mostly earned in the demo. But if you want to declare BBT as a winner by looking at viewers, that's your right.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
BBT and HIMYM are a perfectly matched combination. One does slightly better in viewers, one slightly better in the demo. They're not in competition with each other so I imagine CBS is thrilled by how both of them are doing.

Around half a point more in the demo isn't slightly.

I think they both benefit each other, like OTH and GG on CW. One of the best pairing on schedule currently.

Re: How I Met Your Mother: Season 4
Thinking of Mother, is it the Friends of the 2000's.
Maybe not in popularity but the basic set-up. Some similarities. Young people living in Manhattan, one couple together, Barney=Joey, Ted like a Chandler/Ross split. Etc.
