 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
I really liked the character of Georgina and love Michelle Trachtenberg, so I wouldn't mind seeing her back.
And Dan was an asshole in the last episode, so he kind of deserved the treatment from Serena, IMO.

dan acted really out of character. Does anyone think we could see a Dan/Blair thing starting. Now that would be crazy

I loved tonight's episode. Jenny was finally given some material to work with. And I love the direction they're taking Serena.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
Jenny and Blair are friends now. Rufus came to get Jenny at the after party, where she informed him she's dropping out of school. And Blair and Serena had a falling out, and are no longer friends. Serena is tired of not being herself out of fear of hurting Blair's feelings.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
Another fantastic episode, which has become commonplace for this show these days Jenny is awesome this season, I love her storyline and the dropping-out-of-school bit should definitely be interesting. I felt for Blair tonight, but at the same time I agree with Serena a bit on what was said. Serena's character is quickly becoming awesome, and the Dan-Chuck thing was great as well. I liked that there was finally some development on the Chuck-Bart relationship, and now we understand why there is such hostility between them. And Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick continued to deliver phenomenal performances tonight. The next episode looks great, and it features the much-publicized Blair-Serena fight scene.

Great episode!
Can't wait for the next episode. Why does it have to be two weeks away?!?!

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
Loved tonight's episode!
I actually find Jenny's storyline right now quite interesting, and I support her dropping out of school. If she can have a career right now doing what she wants to do then why the hell not. If she wants to finish in the future she can, but if things work out for her I can't see her regretting it.
It sucks that the next episode is two weeks away (Why? What is on next week? A rerun?). The next one looks great.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
Finished the whole episode.. The last 10 made the episode. Jenny finally has something to really fly with now, besides just giving Blair evil looks every chance she has. Love her story line.
And love Blair VS Serena. It's going to be good.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
It was just a good episode.
Jenny irritates me a lot as usual. I hope she dies in some accident. The bitch can say no to school - that's her right, but lying about her father and not letting him on the list?? That's way too nasty. Rufus should kick her scrawny ass on the street. If the bitch wants some real life she should get it. Hopefully someone would rape her on the street. Just before the accident where Jenny dear losses her life.
It would be interesting if they let Chuck and Dan get closer. IMO they gave away too soon to Chuck that Dan wanted him close because of the assignment (at first at least).

Yep. Nate is pretty awful. Jenny is infinitely better than effing Nate.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
anyway the show is going from strength to strength. it's always the top show on itunes and its ratings are through the roof, if we included the amount of illegal downloads this show gets, i'd say the show averages around a 10 million viewers a week.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
I hear about Gossip Girl more than any other show on TV.
And the ratings are even picking up quite a bit.
Whatever the CW is doing, it's finally working.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
The show is getting pretty big. People I know who I wouldn't expect to watch it have started, and it's quality is so strong as of late that I think WOM is spreading like wild fire.
And yes the show does work better without Nate. I would take the show if it were just Serena, Blair, Chuck and Jenny. They run this show.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
yeah this is the "IT" show at the moment, people have really come down from their high horse because the storylines are just addictive.
The reverse happened with The OC. Fox ruined that show though.

I like Jenny too. Eff you, be.redy.
They could really use this storyline to spin Jenny off into her own series next season, and they should. Jenny was spun off into her own book series, The It Girl, from the GG book series. And next season on GG will be all about them at college, and Jenny just won't be able to connect with the others as easily as she could at high school.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
If they do a spin off, they better cast an very interesting cast around Jenny. While I love the actress who plays her, I doubt she can hold her own show.

 Re: "Gossip Girl" (Season 2)
The stuff with the adults on the show is just dull. I hate Rufus. He's the most dull of them all. I think they should just kill him off. I couldn't help but feel wicked satisfaction when Jenny lied and said he wasn't her father so he couldn't get in. He'd have just caused trouble and tried to drag her out of there and ruin everything. He could wait.
