Survivor Season Ranks:
1. The Australian Outback
2. Pearl Islands
3. All-Stars
4. Amazon
5. Marquesas
6. Borneo
7. Palau
8. Vanuatu
9. Africa
10. Thailand
Australia and Pearl Islands were so much fun, and the only reason Pearl Islands isn't first is because of that damn twist that brought Lill into the final two, where she did not belong at all. All-Stars was lower, but re-watching it on DVD, I really liked it a lot. I read a spoiler list of the show beforehand, right to the final two, and 95% of it was right, so I guess that made me dislike it at the time. Amazon was pretty good, because the Boys vs. Girls thing was a nice twist at that point (which is exactly what hurt Vanuatu), and plus I think Jenna Morasca is hot. So sue me. Marquesas, or Australia II, was good, but not great. Vecepia is one of the worst winners ever. She stumbled into that one quite well. Borneo had a great winner, great players (love you Colleen... you too, Rudy... and you were pretty funny, Greg!), and a great set of challenges for a new form of television. Unfortunately, when I look back, it's also tragically boring, in between tribals and challenges. The interesting people helped a lot, but people like Sean, Kelly, Jenna L., Gretchen, and Joel (a few more, too) were boring, for the most part. Palau's problem is too many colorful characters (or so it seemed, at the start), which now makes the show boring again, with only one stand-out that I want to win, and no one who stands out from the rest, good or bad, in terms of personality. Vanuatu sucked because of Scout and Twila, easily two of my least favorite players of all time. Eliza wouldn't be in my favorite list for a season in a good year, but I was hoping she would win over the final three. Man, I really hated them. Africa was boring, thanks to being inside of a circle for their tribe, with no real chance of good scheming. And Thailand... less said the better.

And apparently they also tend to be annoying Amazing Race players.

I have a feeling that either Coby or Janu will win in the end. They seem to be very low key and when it comes to challenges, they ain't too shabby.

That was a boring episode, more of the same really.
Ulong losing two challenges, Koror taking note of Gregg and Jenn's blossoming romance, nothing new or exciting to report. I was a bit surprised Bobby Jon seemed so tentative in talking with Stephenie regarding the voting that night. Things could have gone badly for him if he wasn't careful enough. Here's hoping Ulong loses more challenges, I want to see what happens if they stay as a two person tribe and lose, will the other team get to vote one of them off? Or will they have a challenge to see who stays.

Who got voted off, that Ibrehem guy?
I've only seen one episode of this Survivor edition. In fact, I didn't watch Vanuatu either. I miss the show that once had me religiously addicted. I'm talking Boreno and the Australian Outback.
Sigh.

Yes, Ibreheim got the boot 2-1. I miss the days of Boreno and Australia when I was ridiculously into it as well. Now I just can't care for any of these people and have a tough time rooting for someone individually.

I actually think this is one of the better seasons (and I've seen them all). I love the fact that this is the first time in Survivor history that a tribe has won 7 consecutive immunity challenges. Uulong totally sucks. To have one tribe down to two at this point in the game is pretty pathetic on their part.
I also think there are some pretty interesting characters this time around. Its a bit predictable for the moment, but soon Koror will have to start cannibalizing itself and I'm thinking that's when it will start to get really good.
Definitely worth another viewing if you've tuned out due to boredom. However, I'm kind of Mark Burnett's bitch when it comes to reality shows, so maybe I'm a little biased. Nobody does them like MB, in my opinion.
I do miss Colleen from Season 1 though. She rocked.

The whole shark thing was overplayed. Hatch caught one with his bare hands and bit it. Much cooler in my mind.
As for Ublong, I think they'll be no tribal immunity challenge next week. Bobby Jon and Stephanie will compete to cross over to Koror and win immunity (basically forcing out a Koror member, much like Willard).

You're right loyal. I've heard that's exactly what happens with BJ and Steph.

It was unforunate to see Ibrehem go. I like him. But then again, I also like BJ and Steph. Steph is hot so I'm glad she's still here. \:D/

I love Stephenie. I'd love for her to win this, but I know she won't. If she merges into the other next week, they'll probably vote her out first, and if not.. I'm guessing the regular immunity challenge will also be like the tribal council, and if she doesn't win it she's gone.

Granted, this was only the second episode I watched this season, but I tuned in because I was curious about a tribal council with 2 people.
I'm impressed with that Stephenie chica. I feel bad for her having to be in camp all by herself. Then it's really like you're a castaway on a deserted island, even if there are cameras.

I think it was a nice twist to have no merge, but for one tribe to have won every damn immunity has really thrown out all the possibilities this new format may have yielded. I had Steph ever since she jumped off the boat in the first episode and couldn't be happier that she has turned out to be the best female survivor contestant ever, but I can't help but feel sad that her full potential has not been realized because of the show's changes. I really hope that it won't be just another immunity challenge and if she loses she's gone, because that would be lame as hell. In fact, I think the way Bobby Jon went out tonight was kind of weak as well. But then, so was tossing two people out before the game even started.
Still, the possibility to further cement her legacy on this show exists, as she will have to dig deep to try and survive on her own. Much respect to her, as I can barely fathom how hard that would be. Also, as was revealed tonight, if she does make it to the other tribe, Tom, Ian and Katie apparently will hook up with her and pull her along to the end. I think that's a wise move on their part, as she would probably win a good share of individual immunities and is a damn sight better than the other useless women on Koror.

I didn't want Bobby Jon to go. He was one of my favorite players ever. Stephanie is also a good player, and I didn't really want to see either of them go.

Go Stephanie. She has been my favourite on Ulong for a long time so I'm glad to see she's the last remaining tribe member, but it would be weird going back to camp alone. I hope for Koror to lose eventually, because I want to see some politicking going on over there. It seems they are discussing a couple options and I would like to see which one gets acted on.

You aren't. I wanted her to beat Bobby Jon, but only because I hated her less, not liked her more. I had a distaste for that entire tribe.

So are we down to the jury yet? We must be since there are nine players left. Anyway,if this is true, then that means Stephanie would be the only player in Survivor history to be present at every single tribal council.

Um...I have to say.
I watched Survivor again tonight, and...I think I like it again.
Woohoo!
Oh, I'm glad Coby got voted off, he was bleh.
Stephenie, Tom and Ian would seriously be the best final 3 in Survivor history, after watching this show tonight.

Coby is the first member of the jury, but technically Stephenie wasn't present at every tribal council as she wasn't there when Koror kicked off Willard.
All in all I enjoyed this episode, primarily because Stephenie stayed and seems to be in a good position. I thought the immunity challenge was interesting, while standing on a post doesn't really make for must see TV it's good to see what people will give up immunity for. While it wasn't the 11 hour standoff in Survivor 2 it was an enjoyable challenge.
I'm almost sorry to see Coby go. At least he was interesting, what does Janu do except lay in the hammock looking miserable? Unless she somehow manages to win immunity next week I think she will be the second member of the jury.
Seeing Tom stumble around drunk was one of the highlights of the night, go Stephenie, Ian and Tom. That would be a good final three, one which I wouldn't mind any of them winning.

Wow, a final three of only good people... when was the last time that happened?

Coby should have been way more humble and quiet while strategizing. I mean, he was totally asking for it!
He may be gay, but he's no Richard Hatch

I've been watching this season off and on. I really like Stephanie (the Ulong chick?) and I hope she makes it to the end. She's pretty and she also seems to be a good strong person and she's humble and a little deflated emotionally.
They should keep Janu, she's no threat, and get rid of the bearded guy whos fucking that chick next. He's totally hanging that chick out as a sheild and using her to downplay his involvment (or his drama). Then get rid of that chick, then Janu.

I'm not sure what game Coby was playing. But it wasn't Survivor.
I think keeping Steph around was a huge blunder. Tom drunk, pretty funny. I don't think Ian is that strong of a player, maybe he'll do something soon to impress me.
