In the previews, they talked about a shocking ending.
Charla and Mirna getting first? Something shocking with Romber?

Agreed Best season since Romber/UchennaJoyce's original season, probably. As much as the BQs have a tendency to make random ass mistakes like that, I think I'm still rooting for them. Although, really, I literally have no problems with any teams left except for Charla/Mirna (Mirna freaking during the Roadblock was hilarious) and Eric and Danielle (shut up, Danielle, you useless Pink).
I agree on all counts. Has a team EVER finished first threee egs straight, let alone the first three legs? Mindblowing.

I'm actually not having a lot of fun with this season so far. Yes, it's still a fun show, but I'm still very indifferent to everybody. Along with the fact that none of the teams seem to be interacting.
I just don't really enjoy watching Rob & Amber win anything, let alone leg after leg.
Charla & Mirna? Good god. Has there been a worse team? Ever? In the history of reality TV?
Dave & Mary were becoming particularly annoying. Was sad to see them go last season. This season not so much.
And I just can't really get behind anybody else, honestly. I'd say I'm still with the BQ's, if only for the fact that -- like someone said -- they seem to be at odds with Charla & Mirna.

Bwahaha I love how blissfully unaware Mirna is of her bitchiness
"I have to do more than any other single person on this race, probably, to make up for the shortcomings on my team."
I wonder what Charla would have said if she was standing right there? hahahaha

Um.
Did I just dream that?
Did Romber seriously come in last and get eliminated?
I'm speechless

How is an elimination, with assistance from a Needle in the Haystack task, something that would change the race forever, or whatever they said on every single promo. I mean, yeah it's surprising, but I guess I was expecting more.

Probably because Romber coming in last behind Charla and Mirna (!) is so shocking that no one would believe it if they hadn't seen it.
Like, seriously, the hell.

I think as Lena and Kristy showed in TAR6, with the hay, these type of roadblocks make for some interesting placements.

Well, the fact that the uber-dominating team that was sweeping the race went from first to last is pretty damn big. And fucking enraging since that means we have to stick with the annoying new heroes among the racers that are Charla and Mirna, the only team I want GONE RIGHT NOW.
I think that goes to show that they need a system that keeps the great racers from suffering from an elimination on a bad leg. Like, a "Get out of last place" card that can keep them in the race and get the next person kicked out. This has been brought up before, but tonight I think showed they should really put something there like that.
Ugh.

Lena and Kristy got the rawest deal of any team ever, I think. They should've been invited back for All-Stars instead of Eric & Danielle or something.

I should note that Mirna truly hit some new lows tonight. Just when I thought she couldn't get any more batshit crazy and weird, I'm proved wrong.
Speaking of bitches, looks like Bama Karlyn is still a sourpuss.

Agreed. Ya know, I didn't really get the amount of hatred that they got in their season, but I see it quite clearly now, especially Mirna.
To be fair, I didn't like how they had to read a letter from a team that really, really loathed them. Same with Rob and Amber.
Yay to Danny and Oswald though.

Me and my family were gaping at the TV when she was yelling at Charla to run faster with the pole and paint that's taller than her up the stairs. W. T. F.
And that letter made me hope again that the BQs at least make the final three just to take their rightful status of longest-lasting female team ever from the damn Bamas. That still remains the worst elimination I've ever seen on the show. Still makes me fume.

Yeah. The "mean letter" thing was needlessly cruel, even if one of the teams that got that was Mirna and Charla. Especially because Marshall and Lance were such utter tools (yelling "Bitch" out a car window is so classy!).
I'm happy for Danny & Oswald, Teri & Ian, Guidos and the BQs for doing so well so far. I would be rooting for Uchenna & Joyce more, except that they already won and they're so frigging low-key that I forget they're even there. I suppose the premature exit of Romber (who I actually am kind of sorry to see go) opens the race up much more.

Wowww. Definitley a bit wtf.
I definitley agree the needle in a haystack thing is a bit deathly, though the Lena and Kristy thing was still the champ of all that. Though to be fair Charla and Mirna getting a final boat all alone was a bit harsh too. The 1st team should've gotten their own and then the teams should've paired it from there. I'm gonna miss Romber.
Mirna is definitley a huge huge bitch. Before the team was just the slightest annoying, but now I can safely say I hate them because that woman... god.
I loved the letters, even if the show evidently requested for mean ones. Flo and Zach! lol. That bitchiness team squeaking into the top 3 then coming out of nowhere and winning is still one of my favorite TAR moments.

And oh yeah, the competition looks pretty good so far. C&M will go soon, but after that, the teams are all strong. Donny and Oswald in particular are starting to look much more dominant and stronger than they were the first time around, good for them too. I'd be interested to see a D&O, BQs, Guidos, Uchenna and Joyce, Eric and Danielle final 5... all very strong teams. I kind of wish more than ever that Colin and Christie came back to the show, as probably the most dominant racers leg-wise ever, it'd be fun to see them go toe to toe with those strong teams, and with Romber out it would fill the void better.
I think I'm rooting for BQs.

There's still plenty of people left to root for
I'm rooting for Danny/Oswald and the BQs, personally.

They have more letter reading at The Amazing Race's website on CBS.com. The one with Joe and Bill, and Mirna and Charla reading their letters is the best.
Bill gets to say: "Fo shizzle my nizzle, this is asstastic!" and Mirna has a little running commentary while reading the letter their team received.

Right now (same during their season) I'm rooting for Cha-Cha-Cha.
I still love BQ... eventhough they make little mistakes (that eventually turn into something potentially detrimental).

Yep boring as hell now that Romber are gone, everyones favourite bitches Charla and Mirma, aka whining hypocritical bitches, are unfortunately there right until the end so I have no reason to watch now, I just can't stand them. I hate the needle in a haystack eliminations, nice editing to make it seem close but it wasn't even close, you could tell by the way Romber walked to the end. It was by most leaks more than 30 minutes after the bitches. Still if Rob had only spelt Philippines right they wouldn't have been put in that position.
sorry thought I had made it white, never looked after I wrote it.

I do wonder what the timing was like with Ian and Teri with respect to when Rob and Amber completed their detour with the incorrect spelling of Philippines.

I'm not entirely certain, but there's something you said in your post that could potentially be a spoiler for the race. If it is, could you post those things in white text as spoilers? Not everyone reads spoilers. Especially for a reality show.

Um, yeah, I saw that too.
If that ends up being true, that's really messed up to post that in plain view.

It was a big surprise, and one that I really wanted to see, but not at the expense of Charla & Mirna staying in the race one more week.
Please tell me that spoiler isn't true.
And if you could, please elaborate.
