The 3 girls will team up with Sally if she's still alive, and most likely Aras. That mayyyy force a 5-5 tie, but if they get through that she's set.
Danielle is boring. And not terribly likable either. I seriously doubt it.

It's unlikely that Aras will stay with Casaya since he doesn't have nearly as much power as he thought he did; his supposed alliance completely crumbled. If he's smart, and he probably is, he'll team up with Dan, Terry, Nick and Austin since he has connections with the other young guys. Once it's down to 5, he can team up with the young guys to get to the final 3.
Also, as i've said before, if it's a 5-5 tie, it will likely be between Terry and and a Casaya member, in which case Terry's alliance will win out since he has the idol.

As long as Casaya doesn't lose the next 2 immunitys straight, it wouldn't have to be a 5-5. The 3 girls, Sally, Aras, and probably Shane. He didn't get along with the older guys, so it's likely that he'll just stay with his normal tribe for that vote at least. I don't see why Aras would switch. He's got much better connections with the Casaya group, he's their "leader". He'd also be by far the strongest physical and mental person left if they voted off La Mina quickly(In his mind. Aras himself might get out by if on Terry's night, they all go for him). 4 girls and dick Shane, he's got the big advantage.

It says next week is a "memorable" tribal council. I know no spoilers, but I take that to mean that they kick Shane out and he freaks out.

Oh god, I hope so.
I think Shane is the first literally mentally insane person they've put on this show.

I wouldn't say he's the first. But I am surprised that more people haven't flipped out during tribal council, requiring security to intervene. It is a million dollars afterall.
But these reality shows do have an in depth interview process and their background checks are extensive. They weed out those likely to use their torch to set other players on fire when voted out.

I understand your logic, I just don't agree with it. First of all, Casaya has a pretty good chance at losing immunity twice in a row since they voted out Bobby, who proved himself to be very useful for physical challenges. And if Casaya votes out Shane at the next TC like people are suspecting, they hinder themselves even more.
Aras will, or at least should, switch to La Mina. He only thought that he was the leader as Casaya. However, he now realizes that he has much less power than he thought: He voted for Bruce but Bruce did not get voted off, and to make things worse, Shane, who swore on his kid that he would stick with his alliance, voted for Aras. Shane claimed it was a "throwaway vote" , but I don't think Aras will accept that as an excuse to vote for him. If Aras switches, he is in a solid final 5 alliance with the men from La Mina, who are much less likely to backstab him.

Frig, Cirie is the only person on Casya that's actually playing the game. Everyone else sort of assumes that this some kind of camping adventure, and all they do is complain because they're not having as much fun as they had hoped.

Poor Dan, I really liked the guy. Honestly, what the hell is wrong with La Mina? They're stronger than Casaya, they're smarter than Casaya, but they just can't seem to win anything! It also sucks that I loathe everyone on Casaya (Except for Cirie, who seems to be the only one there playing a strategic game.)

Casaya always just barely squeaks by La Mina in like every challenge.
I wonder if Sally tried to intentionally throw the puzzle, though, because she probably figured Casaya would send her to Exile Island. That's what I would have done if I were her.
Also, I'm going to geek out if La Mina is pagonged and Shane makes it to the final four or something.
I like Cirie, Nick, Austin, Sally and Terry. I'm warming up to Danielle slightly, but everyone else (especially Shane!) needs to GET OUT.
No one ever talks about what a self-important jerk Aras is, he's even more annoying than pothead Courtney to me.

It's back tonight, I hope everyone didn't forget!
As for the actual episode, I think Terry really blew it tonight. He shouldn't have won Immunity to begin with, since Casaya would've voted him out and of course he would've pulled out the idol sending the person with the second highest number of votes home by default (aka Shane). Something still could've been done despite Terry winning immunity, in that he could've given the Idol to Nick, sending Shane home by default again. Numbers would have evened up a bit to 5 to 4, increasing the odds that Bruce would jump ship.
The previews indicate once again that the hidden immunity idol might come into play, but to what end? Presuming La Mina votes out Shane next week, it knocks Casaya down to 5 members versus their 3. Even if they can swing Bruce over to their side, the best they can hope for is a tie.
Another problem with the La Mina strategy in general was targeting Shane! He's the most volatile member of the group, and getting rid of him probably would have only strengthened the Casaya alliance. Aras seems to be the glue holding them together, so it would have made much more sense to zone in on him.
Who knows what'll happen, but the odds a La Mina tribe member will win significantly decreased tonight.
and what was up with Nick's final words??

Bleh, well that sucked.
Every week Shane stays in this game is another week I want to jump out a window.
It seems as though the former La Mina is going to indeed get Pagonged. Which is ew because the only person I even bear besides Cirie on Casaya is Danielle.
Terry should've thrown the challenge so that they didn't lose a member. If they voted for him while the rest voted for Shane, Shane would've been voted out because the vote goes to the seocnd highest person in the event of the hidden idol, I believe. Bad move, imo.

I agree with you guys. I really don't know what Terry was thinking. But by the looks of next week's episode, there's some big hoopla over Terry having the idol. Why the hell would you tell anyone in the first place?

I agree, don't tell anyone about it!! You're in this game for - you! That idol is key to victory. And especially don't give it to someone else!

I watched about 10-15 minutes of Survivor tonight. This is the first time I've tuned in to watch the show in well over a year!
I couldn't help but notice how just about EVERYONE on the island had some resemblance of a six pack. What the hell? I mean come on!

Yeah, Terry should've thrown that challenge. Now La Mina is basicly screwweddddd.
Anyways, here's how I rank the remaining players in terms of contenders/possibility to win status:
1. Cirie
2. Aras
3. Danielle
4. Courtney
5. Sally
6. Austin
7. Bruce
8. Terry
9. Shane
The reason Shane is last, is that he has absolutely 0 chance of winning. I mean, there's no chance anybody would vote for him in the final 2. Adding to that, as soon as they go for Terry, he'll pull out the idol and 2nd-most votes Shane will be out. He might be next. Realistically though, 5-9 are almost interchangeable. Terry has been such a jackass with his attempted alliance maneuvers, it's pretty obvious he won't last too long. Bruce...A milder version of Shane's situation. It's easy to tell he just won't make it too far, and if he does they won't give it to him. Austin is in trouble, but I put him higher than lots because there's a small improbable chance that he can pull a Chris, meaning going into the final 7 6-1 or something, and somehow surviving among everyone else cracking apart. Sally, same thing, though she has a nice friendship with the girls so that would be even easier.
But I think the top 4 are easily the strongest. They seem to be holding strong nicely, and taking out everyone else with their numbers could be easy. Danielle is a bit too unlikable among the tribe, she'll go far but I'm not sure if she can get the votes against the top 2. But if I had to guess, I'd say she has a great chance at making the top 2 and losing, in fact I'm predicting that. In terms of winning it all though, she's below the top 3. Courtney is a wackjob, so if it came down to the 4 I'd expect she'd be first on the block. If she got to the finals, maybe. But she's an outsider. Maybe against Danielle, but not to the other 2. And speaking of them, the big 2 in my mind are Aras and above all Cirie. Aras is the leader, he's good physically, everyone likes him, he's in control. Once they get down to the final 4 or 5 he might just win every challenge. But the physical part could eliminate him earlier, and if it came down to the finals, he might lose. I also think he'll end up winning the car, and the curse is rampant there. Cirie is my #1 choice as of now. She's got all the aspects tuned in. Flying under the radar, the strong alliance, the smarts to lay back and let everyone else butcher themselves, the likability to get the last votes, etc. She won't win any challenge, but she should be fine. I picked Danni as the winner in the final 9 last year, so I'm hoping my streak continues.

Thinking about it more, Terry displayed some of the most inept gameplay I've ever seen on this show last night.
Not only did he not throw the challenge and let Nick get immunity (stupid!), he somehow thought Cirie and Bruce would love to be guranteed final six on a different team than their own. He didn't even offer final four or something, final six is the best he could do? Terrible gameplay.

Ugh! The next few eps will be awful. Can you say, "pagonged?"

I think its becomming to formula. They need to change things up a bit. They've tried with the whole Exile island thing, but its not enough.
And I still think theyarent suffering enough.

What's with all the Cirie love?
Here's hoping Sally pulls off the win overall.
Terry and Shane need to go.
