I wonder if Aaron really did mess up his hand punching the pole, because otherwise they probably would'nt have shown that.
I don't want Lori & Bolo to be eliminated. They are fun to watch!

It may just be because I've seen every episode twice (I have to Tivo the show for my sister in college and now I'm watching them again with her over the break), but I'm really starting to like a lot of the players. I'm also liking how CBS is editing the show, practically trying to debase the stupid characters (well, the characters' stupid actions) as much as possible: Aaron punching the pole, Kendra's ridiculous "breeding" comment, Jonathan, etc.).
Here's an article on Jonathan and his ridiculousness, by the way:
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6743532/
My favorites:
1. Gus & Hera (the least annoying team, just what we like)
2. Lori & Bolo (they're a little much, but they're fun)
3. Kris & Jon (we don't see that much of them, however)
4. Freddy (no Kendra, nu-uh)
Adam & Rebecca are also starting to get a little more tolerable.
I liked Don & Mary Jean, but they sure did cry a lot!

man, u think i am that lame? come on... what are you thinking? they will write spoilers and final standings? of course the can only comment those episodes that cbs has aired...

Yeah, it was a recap with some new footage, but it didn't really do anything to my opinion on the teams overall. I LOVE Kris and Jon more than ever. They took time to swim in Senegal and seemed to enjoy themselves while playing with the kids, they aided Meredith and Maria with the stick shift car and got them going and they didn't even get upset when Jon spilled gas all over himself filling the trambant. Best team ever.
One extra clip made me dislike Bolo and Lori, Bolo feigned a serious medical condition - I think it was Cerebral Palsy to get through customs quicker in Iceland(?). We saw Hayden express her displeasure at that, and I agree with her. I thought Lori and Bolo were above that.
Another clip of note was Lena and Kristy getting all prettied up, by putting on lip gloss, on their way to meet Phil, who they seemed to have an affinity for. It was one of the better clip shows I've seen, much better than any Survivor one.

I have faith in Kris and Jon. I do think they will make it far, winning - that's another story, but I don't see them being eliminated any time soon. If for the only reason being that it's 6 episodes in or so, and we still really don't know THAT much about them. We don't see them that often, so I'm hoping this means we get to see them for a long time in future legs. Because if I have to endure more Jonathan and Victoria, I better get some Kris and Jon.

I knew Lori & Bolo wouldn't be eliminated!! And very awesome that they are 1st!
But on the other hand, that caused Gus & Hera to be eliminated.

Noooooooooooooooo.
From what was shown to us, the reason Gus & Hera lost was basically because they actually waited for their number at the little motor train car stop.
:sigh:

Agreed. The smell in that place must have been awful as indicated by the violinist having to cover his mouth.
It was an exciting episode but Gus and Hera needed to stay, to keep the 'non evil' people in proportion with the other side. I had a feeling it was over for them when they did the rafting road block, perhaps they overestimated the difficulty of water polo - because every team scored on their first try.
Poor Freddy getting the gate dropped on his head, his screaming came off more like crazy than intimidating. Hera was hit too, you didn't see her bitch about it. Bolo's impersenation of Freddy could use some work but it was nice to see some sort of positive energy from that team in the cab, Lori was a real Debbie Downer there.
Then the road block, it's kinda sad when a competitor in the race (Kris) is your (Victoria) biggest supporter on a roadblock. Yay for Kris though - she's just too good. Also good on Aaron for asking Jonathan why he didn't do the road block, its nice to know other teams hate Jonathan as much as I do. Aaron was really good tonight, I would have had the exact same reaction to the Hungarian greeter. 'Welcome to BUDAPEST!....HUNGARY!!!'
"Thankyou!"
So with the elimination of Gus and Hera, that leaves Kris and Jon as the only full team I can support. Aaron and Hayden are close to making the list due solely to Aaron's hilarity.

Thank god Kris and Jon got on that flight, if they hadn't my watching of this show would have been in serious jeopardy. They didn't even yell, all they did was say please constantly in a anxious/begging manner, and they got on. If this latest leg didn't phase them nothing will.
Other than that though this leg was kinda boring. Lots of waiting and buching, lots of yelling. Lots of driving. Jonathan and Victoria really deserve one another they are horrible horrible people. Hayden - yeah she's a btich too, what the heck is Aaron doing with her? Leave while you still can!
Rebecca and Adam are fun to watch because I'm not emotionally invested into that very VERY unstable relationship. But two fast forwards in a row was really lame. I thought this was a non-elimination leg from the beginning, they haven't had one in a while, so while I'm disappointed that Hayden is still in it, I'm glad that Aaron lives to race another day.
Oh and Kendra wasn't awful, who would have guessed.

I don't actually mind Victoria; I just wish she would develop some sort of a backbone.
Yes, Aaron is too good for that shrew Hayden.
Kris and Jon are one of my favorite teams *ever*.

Kendra, Kendra, Kendra...Did she actually say "these people are impoverished by choice"? I knew the moment they said they were going to Ethiopia that Kendra would provide some interesting quotes. Freddy's cut looked pretty bad, and I would have probably had it looked at before sticking it in more mud and slamming it against a wall, but that's just me. I'm glad these two are in it because it gives them an opportunity to screw Rebecca and Adam, show them for not using the yield on the last place team.
Adam and Rebecca are funny, dysfunctional funny. At times I think Rebecca is way too mean to Adam, but then I see Adam acting like he's 3 years old, and then I just find it funny. That little tantrum he had after getting the pitstop clue was comic gold. But nothing could surpass the hilarity of Aaron's comment regarding having experience guiding asses and then pointing to Hayden. That was a keeper. I'm also warming up again to Lori and Bolo, they are pretty selfaware and don't spend long periods of time yelling at each other, that's a plus.
Jonathan and Victoria...I was so glad when they only brought one donkey to the guy, to hell with reading the clues fully, eh? A bit worried that they would stay in after Freddy and Kendra got yielded but Satan wasn't working overtime and they got eliminated. Phil looked kinda pleased doing it too. I still don't totally understand that 'power' arm thing at the end, but with Jonathan and Victoria understanding should never be in the thought process.
Kris and Jon...Kris and Jon...where you guys in the race tonight? Oh you were? Oh yeah that's right. We saw them very little, but the stuff we did see was good. Seemed pleasant once again, no complaining, smiling all the way. I could take the minimal footage if it means seeing them a lot in the final episode.

That Black Power thing Jonathan did was insane.
The show will be pretty boring unless Adam comes out. The rest of the cast is pretty vanilla.
Side not, Season 7 starts in March. CBS is really fast tracking Amazing Race. Hopefully with some skilled casting and a bit of luck, it doesn't become their Who Wants to be a Millionare.

How are they making these SO fast? This game must take years to plan out, and getting permission to use all these places, and flying the crew around the world... it gives me a headache thinking about it.
