Mike wrote: Well this episode flippin' blew. This season is not off to a great start. It's making Season 2 look amazing. And what the hell? This is taking a break until November? It airs three episodes and takes a month off? That's really bizarre. Why are they doing that?
Hopefully when they return it's with better music and storylines. The music selection this year sucks. Baseball playoffs, as they do every year. And the music this year hasn't been great but at least it's moved the story forward most of the time, something most of the musical numbers in S2 failed to do.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
Not a fan of these three episodes, though Asian F was pretty damn good. If we forget all other parts but the (gasp!) Mike Chang's part. Those really went back to the S1 moments that made Glee so damn good.
At this point pretty much everyone is annoying. And I hate the selections. Too much show tunes. I skipped over every damn song. Never did that before. They really need to spread out the songs. I just can't stand anymore of Rachel or especially Kurt singing. Their voices have become so grating.
Oh. I like the Aspeberger's girl. LOL.
And while Mercedes was kinda bitchy, she is 100% right. Go the "Other Directions" team!...

Really? That episode was HORRIBLE. The Dreamgirls bit was one of the worst pieces of television I think I've ever seen.

Asian F was a HUGE improvement over the first 2 episodes of the season. I hope the next episode next month will be more like it.
I really wish the musical numbers could be 2 minutes tops/or just have 2 each episode. (I agree with Kurt's singing, uggggghhh)

I hate Will and Kurt. Easily my least favorite characters on the show.

Tonight's episode is quite possibly the worst one ever.

I wouldn't say that . I thought it was enjoyable. Nothing special though. Next week's episode looks great. Kurt and Blaine possibly getting it on? Sign me up!

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
It was excruciatingly awful. The storylines were so stupid and ridiculous and that Glee Project winner needs to leave immediately. This is the first episode where I've actually been tempted to turn it off halfway through, and that's really sad considering "Asian F" was such a great hour.
Next week's episode looks good, but knowing this show it probably won't be. ESPECIALLY if Kurt/Will are in any way front and center. Good god I hate them both. At least they are acknowledging Santana slept with Finn though.

Glee's inconsistency shines through yet again: they go from Asian F to the randomness of whatever tonight's episode was.
Santana brought the lulz as usual, though.

Santana needs her own spinoff Also, the Quinn/Puck/Shelby storyline is SO STUPID. "I called child protective services. They're all backed up but we should have our baby back in two weeks." (?!?!?!?!)

Quinn is an awful bitch this season. I hate her . The music still continues to suck this season . I am excited for the upcoming Christmas album though.

Next season will be its last. Mark my words. Hopefully it continues to follow the trajectory of "The O.C." as it has already done with an awesome first season, good-if-not-great second season and awful third season and delivers a great fourth year

LOL this show is so schizophrenic. After the atrocity of last week I thought this week's was fantastic. Might be one of my favorites ever.

Did you really? I thought you'd hate it. Especially with the Warblers making an appearance. You were the first thing I thought of when I saw them .

10 minutes in and they made Warblers sound not like Warblers at all? Nice surprise. I'm glad they're over with West Side Story already. This show has become way too much obsessed with show tunes.
An OK episode. Not a train wreck like last week.

Re: "Glee" Thread - Sept 9 as scheduled!
The West Side Story numbers were surprisingly well-handled. It was also the first episode where I didn't completely hate Blaine/Kurt. I think my enjoyment of the episode had a lot to do with the fact that the Quinn subplot was nowhere to be found and Will was only in the last scene pretty much
