okay... I decided I didn't want to wait till Wednesday, so I watched it ;)

It was very good, but not Top 5 good. The episode was a bit slow but the end picked up ALOT of steam and I could not believe what happened at the end. I'd actually say it came close to the 'Lost' shock ending.

[spoil]
I thought Nadia was excellent in her last scene. I never really cared too much for her acting but when Rambaldi comes into play she turns it all on. I loved her throwing it in the fire (though I saw ti coming a mile away). Sloane killing her to see the message (which I think I saw was just the plain <0> thing wasn't it?) and then making Sloane turn all evil again was a great move I agree. I have come to loathe what they did with the Sloane character after Season 2 and this is the best yet.

I agree with Michael in that Renee was awesome. Right before she died, I was thinking of how great a character she was and how much I started liking her. Oh well. I hope they kill more people though. It gives the finale so much more weight. they are really going out with a bang!

I wonder when Lena Olin will be returning. But at least we get Vaughn back next week![/spoil]

It was better than the Lost ending, by like 12 miles.

The [spoil] deaths werent dealt with as well, but certainly we cared about the characters A LOT more and the repercussions of the deaths are way more significant [/spoil]

[spoil]Whoa... lol How do the Alias deaths have more repurcussions than the Lost deaths? ;)
They died because they didn't really have any more important significance. The deaths in Lost are setting up the story for the rest of the season.[/spoil]

[spoil] Nadia was a character who was instrumental to the entire rambaldi prophecy. Remember back to the fight at the end of season four, one would live, one would die. By killing her they are confirming that the rambaldi prophecy which has been running for five years is inevitable. Placing Sloane as the bad guy again gives Alias the focus it needs to really go out with a bang. Therefore it is more significant than the deaths on Lost. That said, I've only watched short segments of Losts second season. I'll wait for the DVD this time, hopefully they wont grossly overprice it this year [/spoil]

I think the fact that Jennifer Garner can play one of the kindest heroes and one of the evilest villains in television is a testament to her acting ability. She seriously had me on edge as anna. More soon.

Wow. Great cliffhanger

[spoil] I really, really enjoyed the whole Sydney and Anna thing this episode. Garners performance was fantastic on both fronts, the whole conflict really gave my goosebumps. Vaughns discovery of everything about Prophet Five was kind of hot, but what was hotter was seeing him fight Anna. That was a seriously good fight. Not quite as good as seeing Annasyd get a bullet through her head from the REAL syd though. Im going to miss Anna.

I LOVED seeing Sark back, Sloane is truly evil! Nadia plauging sloane was also very hot. I love that Sydney is going deep cover for the final few episodes. Shes going to bring down the beast from the inside out. We have next weeks episode then the final duo and i mean seriously, EVERYTHING about the show over the past few years is making sense and coming into play.

BTW i totally called Tom Grace as a double agent ageeeesss ago. [/spoil]

Actually that's wrong, Reprisal is the first half of the two hour final, All the Time in the World is the second half. The episode airing this Wensday is No Hard Feelings.

They must have billed it wrong on TV.com, I thought there was three more episodes actually instead of a superdouble.

Jennifer Garner is currently on the promotional assault for the finale. She was on Good Morning this morning and she filmed Letterman yesterday I believe. Here she is pictured outside letterman

As no one is going to post until they see it in a day or two, i just thought i would start with some generic non-spoilery comments.

I am really liking the lead up to the end, and i hope that nothing happens to Jack. Back to this ep though, i liked the use of the characters. It seemed as if everyone had something to do, and i love when that happens on shows nowadays as it doesn't anymore. That's all for now, i just didn't want the Alias thread to be so vacant after it was on.

I'll comment to, but mine will be filled with SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!

okay. Overally, it was a good episode but like Lost, it was sort of a build up for the finale.
So was that old guy like 400 years old or something? ;)
I thought Tom's story would sort of fall into the big picture but it wasn't and he didn't even turn out to be a double or anything. What a wasted storyline. But I guess they had to give him and Rachel something to do. At least they wrapped it up before the finale.
I'm so excited for the finale mainly because I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen and what to expect. I'm kinda hoping Jack dies because that would really be great. He's my second all-time favorite but I think killing Irina off wouldn't be as dramatic as offing Jack.

That dude looked like some dead zombie shit! Great episode. Im still not sure if Tom is a double agent or not....i mean he was writing down meet places for the group on a newspaper last week, but now hes like, this vengence guy again.

Jennifer Garner deserves an award for this season above all others IMO.

As for the episode. I was shocked about [spoil]
the whole rambaldi pendant finally being given to sydney. It had been talked about since season one. Sloane needs Sydney imgonnabet. Sydney is the key to the whole thing. Its going to be immense to finally see the ramabaldi prophecy complete next episode, we are going to know exactly what Alias has been teasing us with for 4 years. I think that the sydney and vaughn scenes are the best scenes theyve ever had, there is way more charisma between them now than there ever was. I really liked how the reality of rambalis existence crossed into Sydneys actual life. He is no longer just paper and crazyness, he is becoming this real thing, she brushed her hand over the drawing he made of her hundreds of years ago. That scene was great. Good to see Sark back as well, and Sloane is more hideous than ever.

It will be nice seeing Irina back for the finale.

TISSUES AT THE READY ALL :( [/spoil]
