Yeah, I mean it's nice and all that they would help their friends but are they forgetting this is a race for a million dollars?
I was expecting the NEL so it wasn't a big shock or disappointment for me, the disappoint came when they won the prize. Give it to U&J .

So how was week two of the show? Did it hold up? Are you going to keep watching?

I'd watch a show about snails sleeping if you wanted me to.
Seriously, it's very intense, and it's very exciting. I just wish that I had been watching longer, because I missed out on a lot of fun.
I will definitely continue watching!

If Uchenna and Joyce don't allow Meredith and Gretchen to tail them next week, I guarantee Meredith and Gretchen will come in last place.
It's not really a question of physical strength, though that plays a part. They've proven time and time again that they just aren't very smart TAR players.

The good news is that last season wasn't all that great. Actually, it had a lot of awesome teams but most of them were eliminated early on in the race (except for Kris and Jon, probably the best team *ever*, who came in second to snobby princess Kendra and her boyfriend Freddy). This abusive lunatic named Jonathan also made the season unpleasant.

Are these reality show seasons like regular TV seasons, with reruns and such?

No, reality shows never usually have repeats, except for maybe some thing like Extreme Makeover.
Season 5 aired weekly from July to September 2004, Season 6 aired weekly, from November 2004 to February of this year, etc.

Oh, that's awesome then! It's just goes right into another race? I was thinking I'd have to wait after this race was over until summer was over. This is great news, because the party doesn't ever end!
BTW...congratulations on 2600 posts. Everyone of them has touched my heart and made me want to be a better person. (hey, I remember the silliest details sometimes)

I don't think TAR8 will be premiering until September or October, which upsets me. That's the longest time we've been without TAR since the gap between 4 and 5 I think, back in the days when the show was struggling to get to its next season. Although with TAR 8 being Family Race, my anticipation is less great.

The next Amazing Race is with 4 people on each team, correct? The family edition?

Yeah, it is. I may not watch it.. I don't really care to see a family trying to win.

Well, I'll still watch it, even though I didn't want to have to wait for more than a little bit. :???: A family race sounds like it would be fun. Lots of bickering and annoying folks. Team work. What's not to like?

Wow, another great episode
It was soooo sweet to see Rob's antics backfire on him like that, especially since it allowed Gretchen and her senile friend to actually finish AHEAD of them But I must admit that I cringed watching Gretchen climb that wall, since I was half expecting her to fall off and crack her head open on the cement.

Seriously, if she just reacted with body language and let Meredith do all their talking... Think of the possibilities. I mean, she's a nice lady, but the voice...it's like the voice of death.
Do you really think Meredith would be able to work all of that out? I mean, you could probably hold up a huge sing with the message printed in big bold letters and still stump him.

Ewwww, Kris & Jon.
Seriously there wasn
t even anything to like aobut them. Nothing to dislike, but htat's hardly a reason to like anyone.
I like Gretchen and Meredith I don't care what anyone says.
But I'm really reallly hoping Unchenna & Joyce win. Anyone else would be a distant second or third or fourth.
I felt bad for disliking RoN tonight. He's really not a bad guy. I guess...he just doesn't realize how annoying he can be sometimes. But...yeah.

Ack, I knew this was a non-elimination leg for I remember The Bowling Moms last time came in 4th and was spared. They got eliminated the next show.
I was hoping ROMBER would be last so they would get zero money and see how they would come around to it.

The idea of various combinations of four family members racing isn't exciting to me.

I really enjoyed this episode. As much I do like Rob and Amber, Rob is getting on my nerves now. I was happy to see Meredith and gretchen do well and it was nice to see Rob and Amber fall behind a bit. I do think they will win though. They just seem crafty enough and slimy enough to come out on top.

I totally heart Gretchen and Meredith. I laugh out loud everytime the old lady says "Ohhh, we have a bad elephant" or "A bad camel" or whatever the heck she's moaning about.
And I was SHOCKED that she was able to scale that wall. For a lady her age, that was remarkable.
(But I agree they are not very good racers, just very, very lucky ones. Quite a few times they've skated through because another team made a fatal mistake.)
And actually, it's not a bad idea for Uchenna and Joyce to help keep them around. If U&J help G&M get though, that means that one of the stronger teams, R&A or R&K gets eliminated instead, which would certainly be beneficial to U&J. I'm surprised Survivor Rob hasn't thought of that.

Go Rob and Amber!
Go Uchenna and Joyce!
Go Meredith and Gretchen!
BOO to Ron and Kelly. I was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly disappointed when they won the travelocity prize. I would have preferred any of the other teams.
I don't care who wins out of the other three teams, although I still am rooting for Rob and Amber. I'm in love with them! They NEVER ever disrespect eachother, and they don't fight all the time and I find them be some of the best competitors ever on The Amazing Race.
PEACE, Mike

Rob's too busy disrespecting others to focus on his girl  Honestly, to see his own smug taunts come back to haunt him was a beautiful moment.
