1:30 In the crowd in front of Khaleesi. But I think I'll have a couple of close ones too. I was damn near camera in quite a few shots.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
Just finished the 3rd book over Christmas. DANNNNGGGG. That was some awesome stuff. I think I liked the TV's version of the Red Wedding because of Robb's wife there with him. Made it more impactful.
Totally saw the Joffrey thing coming as I assume everyone did.
Catelyn!! WOAH!! Surprised I was.
Best scene I can't wait for this upcoming season? Tyrion confronts his dad on the toilet! Note I have not read any other books ... and I don't know if I will/will not before the TV series comes out.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
Yes brilliant stuff. All that will be covered off in Season 4 of the show.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
Has HBO said what they are going to do once they run out of material? (Sorry if this was asked before, but I didn't see any answers and I don't read the spoilers). Have they stated if they are going to do 2 seasons for books 4 and 5 as well?

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
I'm still holding out hope that the worst that happens is their filming while final editing of the last book is coming out.
If they catchup, they could do a season where they show some of the events leading up to the war that's mentioned in the books. That would be my preference, though they'd have to buy the rights.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
If it's true they're only going to 7 seasons no way GRRM is ready by then. I think they can end the TV series after book 6 and just leave the TV-only viewers pissed off. The ratings are already in the bank by then lol

GRRM should release Winds of Winter this year at the latest.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
I can't see any way the last season happens on TV before the book comes out. But maybe filming the last season and then waiting years to release it is a possibility.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
Sopranos had two 2 year breaks from in 2004 and 2006. I do realize one of them had to do with the writer's strike but still, HBO would just wait one more year till GRRM catches up on one of his novels.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
The show runners know how the book series will end. If need be they will finish the TV series before the final book.
GRRM has been way too slow, preoccupied with other matters (though love the novella in Dangerous Women - anyone read it yet??). If he can get WOW out by the end if this year, things should still be ok - but only just.

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 3
lol if the show gets to end the stories before the books come out it's gonna be a HUGE slap in the face for the book readers who have been waiting for YEARS

 Re: Game of Thrones:Season 4
For the annoyance of all non-book-readers (NBRs) I'm starting to wonder how people will react to the shift in momentum this year. Game Of Thrones has become a monster despite complete Lannister domination, and the "good guys" repeatedly being foiled or killed. This year two of the main villains will die and Tyrion will be stained with patricide. It won't be able to top the shocker of the red wedding, but I bet most viewers will miss Joff and Tywin more than they will miss Robb and Cat.

Magnus wrote: this season will be fine. its after this season that worries me about the shows popularity with non-book readers cause: nothing big really happens for Tyrion and Dany in book 5 IMO until the very end. That's a lot of time wasting. Even Jon is kinda lame for a while.
Also, not sure if the non-book fans will like all the Iron Islands/Dorne stuff. Well they are going to have to start going off book eventually, why not start next year?

Not sure if this is a spoiler or a rumor. I'll put it in tags just in case. Apparently Neil Marshall was brought back to give Castle Black the full episode treatment.

I loved the episode, especially the last 10 minutes. Arya is amazing character, and I always enjoy her scenes.
