Damn, this show keeps getting better.

Kathy Bates gave an Emmy worthy performance here and so did Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange who SLAYED that Lana del Rey cover. She is just perfecta t everything she does.

Wes Bentley was delightfully over the top and I liked Kathy Bates's performance. Also thank god Emma Roberts showed up again - I hope she's another scene stealer this year. I have to say though my favorite character thus far this season is Dandy. He's so deranged and his interactions with Patti LaBelle last night were hilarious. I also loved the homage to Halloween last night.

I actually think Dot and Bette are two of my least favorite characters so far. I find them annoying.

I do not know if it is a problem with my cable provider or FX, but it (as in the guide, so also the DVR) always says series such as The Strain and American Horror Story will air from 10pm to 11pm, but I know it is truly approximately 10pm to 11:15 or 11:23 or another such insane time.

I forgot to add extra minutes to my scheduled recording, so, for me, the latest episode of American Horror Story abruptly ended mid-sentence with Jessica Lange entering the rehearsal space. I did not see the much-argued-over Lana Del Rey cover. And, of course, they do not allow fast forwarding on demand.

No real point here. Just bitching. Bite me, FX.

This season has been pretty so far. I hope things start picking up, I'll continue watching though. I know fans of the shoe **** on Coven but at least that was really entertaining and had an element of fun.

Coven is my favorite. It was ridiculously entertaining. I couldn't even make it through the first two seasons. This season has been a complete chore, IMO.

yep, Coven is my favorite too, while it was a clusterfuck of a storyline the characters were just too much fun.

This season is a slow burner, and I'm glad the change of pace from Coven, It was like Scandal sped up to 100x

Last night's stuff with Twisty/Dandy/Emma Roberts/Evan Peters was excellent.

I just don't find Jessica Lange's character all that engaging though. Her scenes bored me.

Intrigued now that Dandy is the 'new' Twisty. He seems like he'll be 100x more deranged.

Yeah, Dandy as he new Twisty is gonna be so epic.

Also Sister Mary Eunice is coming back too. FUCK YES!! My favorite ahs character ever, it's also amazing to see Rabe back.

Elsa's storyline every episode is exactly the same. She's so boring. Easily the worst character Jessica Lange has had so far.

Good episode otherwise though. It's just hard accepting that Sarah Paulson/Jessica Lange are the worst parts of this season.

The show at times seems to forget Sarah Paulson's characters exist.

The scene was obviously an homage of sorts to the scene in Zodiac (it was creepier in that film though).

Just watched the first episode and its solid though not frightening. Paulson was the highlight though.
