Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
The struggles of Leslie and co. on the ice rink was the funniest scene on Parks & Rec all season. "Get on your feet." Fantastic episode overall.

Just finished Disc 2 of Season 3. I love this show. It's so hilarious. And I adore the stuff with Ben and Leslie. Adam Scott is so damn sexy.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
I liked the season finale a lot. Rudd and Hahn were great additions and I'm glad Hahn will be back. Shows they can write funny things for the female characters. Finale had a good story and some good laughs.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 3)
I forgot to mention I caught up on the show. I think it's very good, but falls short of greatness. S4 was less funny than S2 and S3, but probably the best "character" season
I heard a good post by someone online saying one of the things daring about Parks and Rec is that they move their characters into different positions, and this can be difficult for a comedy show because what makes a character funny is very specific things, and when their lives change they might lose their comic edge. Although Parks and Rec has always been funny, I think that's on the money to an extent with why it can slip a bit. Andy's funniest IMO was actually in the mediocre S1 + early S2, where he was the loserish lapdog boyfriend to Annie. My biggest criticism of the show is how they've handled him since then. He's just become too dumb IMO. This isn't even Kelso Joey dumb, this is like another level of mentally incapable. I also think April's lost her comic edge as they've moved her character forward. Tom and Ron have almost always been funny, though the Tom/Annie relationship doesn't remotely work to me, where's the chemistry? Have they even made out yet? They need to take it a bit more seriously IMO. But basically Ron, Tom and Jerry have been the most consistently funny characters (or in Jerry's case used in funny ways) because they've stayed exactly the same
Finally big thumbs up to Amy Phoeler. I wasn't a huge fan of her on SNL but Leslie Knope is an EPIC TV performance

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
Great premiere! This show Amy Poehler looked oddly thin, as did Will Arnett an hour earlier on Up All Night. Maybe it's the stress of their divorce...sad.

Hilarious episode tonight - I died when Leslie got sick in the courtroom - "Gentlemen, it appears that I have fallen ill..."
