It's probably a bias, but I do really like Rob and Amber. I'm glad they're doing good so far. Lynn is the most annoying person in the whole race. Pretty boy brothers aren't high on my favorite list either. I'm surprised Meredith and Gretchen did so well, but it seems the older group goes second episode, so it'll be interesting to see if they fall behind, or keep up the pace.
Oh, and don't you love the oddball opinion of Patrick about Rob, saying he's as dumb as a rock? Right, he made it to the final two in Survivor All-Stars because he's as dumb as a rock. He took the initiative to step up over everyone else and control the game. That ain't dumb, not in any dictionary. The only thing that may hurt Rob and Amber is everyone else, since it seems it's the popular opinion that no one likes Rob or Amber, and want them to lose.

I agree..he comes off as teh dumbest person i have seen in the race ever. He might know how to play the game, but as far as common sense..ugh. And his sense of humor is that of a 9 year old.

I think maybe he meant more along the lines of how he talks. He really doesn't sound intelligable when he talks. The way he talks is sssooo cute, but it's kind of dumb-founded, and it sounds like he has a hard time getting out words.

How is Rob the dumbest person in the race ever, though?
I think he's goofy and funny, not stupid.

I love to see Rob and Amber doing so awesomely. And I love to see Susan and Patrick doing poorly. There's just something about them that I hate.

Ray and Deana are almost nonexistant in the show. I never see them.
Rob and Amber are still the best, and I'm really surprised they're taking this very seriously - enough to come in first.

I love watching this show. Rob and Amber doing awesome and my other favorites Merdith and gretchen are doing good. According to my mom though this show is rigged which i thought was funn of her to say which started an argument which made her say never to watch it again. The reason she said it was rigged is b/c M and G went from 5 to 7 th b/c they got lost (she thinks they should have a guide to the place:lol: ) She also thinks rob and amber being first was rigged. She's funny thinking all this shit; she evn started cry which i also thought was weird but whatever.

Ron kind of reminds me of Ben Affleck in Pearl Harbor. I also thought I heard something about him learning about how to be greedy in the military, I didn't know that was what the military was about. Ya learn something new everyday.
The begging started early this race, I always hate that part of the race so it was unfortunate to see it tonight. I'm wondering why Susan and Patrick had to do it, I can see their budgeting being a definite problem in the future.
Rob and Amber are shrewd players, and I just love everyone being all mad at them for being outsmarted. It's tough being stupid.
Can't say I'm crushed at Heidi and Megan's elimination didn't see that much from them.

I think we really have yet to encounter the "we're not annoying" team. I think we'll get a good glimpse in the next couple weeks, though. Brian and Greg, Uchenna and Joyce, and Meredith (hee, Meredith) and Gretchen seem like good candidates.

I've waited patiently for a team to play dirty, I miss the old days of Team Guido. Thank Allah for Rob and Amber, they play so dirty and smart.
The gay son and his mother, the gay couple, POW boy and ugmo, all still suck hard.

Something about Ron and Kelly bothers me intensely already.
I think they're my least favorite team, but I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe it's that obnoxious "Former POW/Pageant Queen" title. Or the fact that Kelly always looks sour. Or that Ron was volunteering that he was a POW and plans to donate all of his money to troops in the *first* episode. Like, that's not a sympathy plea there.

Meredith and Gretchen are my favorite team so far. Gretchen says the funniest things sometimes, and I hope they make it far. They always seem to make the wrong decisions which costs them. That seems like the case for all *older* couples on the show. I hope they run into a streak of luck or something.

Meredith looks like Larry David. I'm waiting for him to call one of the gay guys a cunt.

I don't know if Rod is agreeing or disagreeing with me. Either way, my favorites are currently Rob and Amber. Biased? Yes. But I always liked them.

Favorites: Rob and Amber
Second: Gretchen and Meredith (have to pull behind the underdogs)
Wish they went this week: The meathead brothers
Not a fan of Ron and Kelly, Debbie and Bianca, or Lynn and Alex. Wasn't it hilarious when they wanted their money back? Wow, everyone else looked out for blood.

I hope the token 'old people' group can make it far this time. I mean, they always say "we're just as tough as the youngins!" But really, they never are.
And remember Don last year? And his crying? And how it was kinda sweet but also kinda giggly at the same time?
Ah, old people...

I like Meredith and Gretchen, but not nearly as much as Don and Mary Jean. Gretchen's a tad annoying, but they're endearing at the same time, I guess.

I want to like Gretchen and Meredith because they are old and usually I cheer for the older couple, but Gretchen's defeatist attitude and her screeching is making it difficult. At this point I equate them much more to Teri and Ian of TAR3 than Don and MJ.

Tonight's episode looks interesting. According to the program description, a team apparently decides to skip a Road Block and receive the penalty for it, and tries to convince others to do the same?
Uh. How bad could the Road Block actually be?

Oh that Rob and Amber.
I like reading The Programming Insider every day on Mediaweek, but he pisses me off a lot. The latest example? He has shown such a disliking to Rob and Amber, which is fine. Then today, someone e-mails him about his comments and how they are a great team, and he caves completely and says "Well, they do make the show interesting!". He never stated otherwise, but I never would have derived that from his constant rantings on how they don't deserve to be there, because they already did Survivor. Was he this bad when Alison from Big Brother 4 was in the Race?

I don't recall, especially considering Alison and Donny only lasted two legs. Yeah, Marc Berman annoys the heck out of me at times. I wish he would just report the ratings without feeling the need to give his personal opinion on things.

Yes, he does that WAY too much. Sometimes he just repeats himself all the time. When "The King of Queens" made its debut in the Wednesday night time period, and did fairly well, I'm sure for the ENTIRE season, he reminded everyone about how it was the first successful sitcom on Wednesday in CBS in years, possibly dating back to All in the Family. He wouldn't say two peeps if it was, say, "Yes, Dear". But because he likes King of Queens, he felt the need to always make a moderate success on Wednesdays a big ordeal. He made a bigger deal of King of Queen's success last season than he did of Lost's success this season.
Plus, he has also said "Scrubs" was over-rated on occasion, so I can't really tolerate his personal opinions much anymore. I could go on forever about him!

Lynn and Alex are on my bad side. Their hatred towards Rob and Amber is immature and unfounded. Rob and Amber deserve their shot at the race just as much as anyone else, and they're not staying ahead by being little obnoxious bitches.
Ugh!
