I just realized who that is. He was hilarious in The Brothers Grimm.

Just a name being thrown around, though. Link? It's from Michael Ausiello on TVGuide.com. That would be AMAZING news if it happens.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Kristen Bell won't be joining Lost. http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry ... /800020200Quote: Total. Bummer.
The greatest casting coup of the century was apparently not meant to be: A spokesperson for Kristen Bell, responding to my report in Wednesday's AA, notified me late last night that my BFF won't be joining Lost next season. Although her rep didn't provide a reason, I did a little digging and my sources say Bell -- who was formally approached by Lost execs this week -- turned down the gig primarily because she didn't want to relocate to Hawaii. Looks like Stormare is also not happening. That one was a rumor. http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20050425,00.html

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
According to Spoilerfix, The Wire's Lance Reddick "has been cast in the recurring role of Arthur Stevens, the intimidating corporate recruitor." http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0714698/" target="_blank" target="_blank Ken Leung has joined the cast as "the recurring role of Russell ([may not be the character's real name]), a brilliant mathematician who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields." According to Spoilerfix, more rumory: Rebecca Mader may be the other regular cast member. To me she looks like the Kristen Bell replacement. Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan, Twister, Dogville, etc.) may be doing the show for awhile next year too.

I wouldn't expect any new characters to last the season.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
I've seen that before, I think it's on the DVD. It's pretty sweet, much better than the overdramatic promos we get over here.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Spoiler fix is reporting that the first episode is Sawyer's.
Which will be the first time that the season premiere will be non Jack-centric.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Spoilerfix has clarified. It looks like a lot of the new episodes include foward flashes. It also looks like the first episode contains flash forwards for many characters.
It's also been confirmed that Libby will be back this season.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
I don't think I'll be able to survive until the new year with no Lost and no 24. Usually at least one of them would be on, but now there's none.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Season 4 Episode 1 titled...
The Beginning of the End
And Garcia said there would be another major death this season (not much of a surprise).

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
I was talking to one of my friends who also watches the show - though not nearly as religiously as me - and he was surprised to learn that it was coming back in February. He thought the show was done for good, no more episodes, they're all saved. I'm not sure how many people share this view, or if it will have any effect at all on ratings come February, but it might be something to think about. Or not. I'm sure the advertising will be aplenty come the new year.
My next bet to die is probably Sayid. We already know Jack + Kate survive until they're off the island, Locke's already had his brush with death, I don't think they'd kill off Sawyer, Hurley is the comic relief, Desmond is the central hero of the whole thing, Jin or Sun would be too tragic, Claire has the baby, etc. I guess Sawyer is possible, though. Ben's another thought.
