It's on tonight, y'all!

I honestly don't know who I will root for. I would say Uchenna and Joyce are probably the most likeable team, but they've already won.

Oh, and I'm totally serious about Mirna needing to cut her shit from her season out. I can't deal with another season of her whining.

I liked U&J on the race, then after they gave lots of interviews where they went on and on about how they are good people and how god wanted them to win because of that.

I like the fact that there's only one team that I'll root against, looking at you Eric and Danielle.

What idiot golfer is responsible for The Amazing Race being delayed over 20 minutes?

I thought we were done with this when football ended.

As much as I hate D&K being on the later flight at the hand of another racer, there's something deliciously awesome about a "good" team like Kentucky getting dirty. I'm lovin' it.

I <3 Romber.

However, my heart truly belongs to the BQs, even if they haven't done much yet.

So far, so great. There really isn't a team that I actually hate yet (Though Kevin & Drew were slightly annoying).

It wasn't until I actually saw everyone in action that I realized how indifferent I feel towards most of these teams.

Not saying that it won't be a good season, but honestly...

John Vito & Jill? I mean, I remember them (and even felt sorry for them), but... ALL-STARS? Mmmm... k. And Teri & Ian? Eric & Danielle?

I'm honestly not sure that I have anyone to root for yet. Rob & Amber I didn't like from the beginning, and they're probably the furthest from actually needing the money. Uchenna & Joyce, like 'em, but again, don't need it.

What to do, what to do.

Beauty Queens? Maybe.

I hated Charla & Mirna again with the first 5 seconds or so, when I remembered how Charla pronounces Mirna's name.

They're at the top of my hate list.

Great premiere. Yes.

Almost everyone got a low-key edit tonight, even Charla & Mirna (although I do think I detected an instance of Mirna's trademark language mangling, ugh).

I was fairly indifferent towards John Vito & Jill, so not incredibly broken up over their ouster, although they seem nice enough (didn't watch any of their season).

It looks like that Dustin and Kandice will probably not be the new Dustin and Kandice this season (as in, the team everyone never stops talking about every 2 seconds and is always "We must beat them!").

Other thoughts, hm...

Team Guido and Team Cha Cha Cha have lived up to everything I've heard about them so far (I started watching in Season 5).

Uchenna and Joyce still seem quite lovely.

Rob and Amber. I was always a fan of them. I have to admit, though, I think my tolerance for them is beginning to wear a bit. I feel like I have been watching the two of them on television together since I was born or something, and I just really don't want a repeat of their season when every single conversation was "Rob and Amber suck!" and Rob and Amber were like "We don't suck, we're awesome!" Yada yada yada

I am still grumpy all time favorite team Kris & Jon are MIA.

Good premiere. Not too much time devoted to any team (except maybe Donny and Oswald, who I can live without from now on).

Obviously, go Romber and BQs.

Going by next week's preview, looks like the Rob and Amber jealousy is back again.

Reactions?

I think this episode erased a lot of the good feelings I had towards Kevn and Drew that were built up in Season 1, I'd let the flight crew and such handle the bag disputes, I wouldn't want another team touching my stuff. I thought that was a bit of a jerkass move.

Good to see Rob and Amber, and Danny and Oswald finish top two again. Good on Dustin (Or Kandace) for figuring out the roadblock, I like them, and I like them even more now that Charla and Mirna don't. Team Guido and Teri and Ian are also okay, they haven't done anything really special but haven't done anything to draw my ire.

The rest of the teams can go away. I felt very tempted to fast forward through any of their screentime last night. Especially Dave and Mary. Leave now. Let Rosie give you another house or something, just get off the race.

Dammit I can't believe I've missed the first 2 episodes. Holiday weekend last week and Oscars last night.

Kevin and Drew (mostly Drew) seem a lot less likeable now than I remember them being in various clips I had seen. I think it was, as Miss Alli said, mostly a result of Drew being in "Everything Hurts" mode.

Is it possible that Charla and Mirna have gotten more irritating? Goodness. What was with that freakass altercation with the BQs along the side of the road? I feared for the BQ's safety with Mirna shrieking like the crazy lady she is.

Rob & Amber continue to dominate, Danny & Oswald are doing great.

Eric & Danielle are doing alright, although I think she's going to start dragging them down eventually (judging by next week's preview, as well).

Uchenna & Joyce are still, indeed, quite lovely. Team Guido and Teri & Ian are moving steadily.

David & Mary are just starting to grate a little bit. Where Mary was "cute" last season has crossed into "obnoxious" territory.

Charla and Mirna are still both batshit crazy, and Mirna has decided further rape of foreign languages is required.

I still love the BQs.

I think this is the most I've enjoyed the race since season six. I'm really liking this show, and most of the teams. Rob and Amber are machines. David and Mary, not so much.

Agreed

Best season since Romber/UchennaJoyce's original season, probably.

As much as the BQs have a tendency to make random ass mistakes like that, I think I'm still rooting for them.

Although, really, I literally have no problems with any teams left except for Charla/Mirna (Mirna freaking during the Roadblock was hilarious) and Eric and Danielle (shut up, Danielle, you useless Pink).

So after finally being able to watch an episode, it seems to me that All-Stars is less comedic than I expected, and more just INTENSE. These teams are competing. I like it though.

Things should get exciting when it's down to the really good teams. Rob and Amber, Uchenna and Joyce, BQs, Team Guido, should be fun. I still wish Colin and Christie joined up though.
