I think the one was gay but the other wasn't. Or at least that's what I thought they inferred. But yeah, the one guy needed to go.
I thought the sisters were pretty hilarious. What did one of them say? Something like GIANT TURDS OF CRAP. I don't know. It made me laugh.
I like the nerds, but I could do without the whimsical music everytime they come on screen.
Not liking the Lake couple. (My name theory holds up, it appears.)
And the mother/daughter team looks like a potential future annoyance.

HAHA I love them as well. They say the most inappropriate things.

My faves are BJ and Tyler, Joseph and Monica.
Eric and Jeremy are dicks! Two of the most distasteful contestants ever. "We're going to nice to them, so we can have lots of sex with them later! Hardy har har!" I only wish I was as confident as those two.

Opinions up to about now.
Like them!
Wanda and Desiree (awesome!)
Dave and Lori (nerds in love, yay!)
Ray and Yolanda (they seem really cool)
Danielle and Dani (I like these two a lot more than I thought I would before the season started)
Not a huge fan, but that may change later
BJ and Tyler (they try too hard)
Fran and Barry (way too defeatist)
Joseph and Monica (a little too bland so far; certainly not the next edition of awesome like Kris and Jon)
Ugh
Lake and Michelle (Lake is this season's requisite asshole)
Eric and Jeremy (Utter tools who aren't even that attractive)

Havn't really gotten into this season yet. If the couples end up stimulating half as much interest as some of season 7's (Romber, Gretchedith), it should still be at least 10 times better than last season.
BTW, next up for the Weavers: Hell.

God, I hope so.
I'm trying to erase all memories from the family edition out of my head.

Anyone watch tonight? Thought it was a pretty entertaining leg, what with the airport drama, the girl teams getting lost, the bottle-smashing detour, the drunk German guy, the last two teams on each other's tails till the end, etc. Sad to see Wanda/Desiree go (over the damn Pinks no less!) but they really imploded on this leg.
Their elimination however does prolong two current TAR curses! First one started with TAR6:
11th place is always a male best friends team who think they're amusing (Avi/Joe, Ryan/Chuck, John/Scott)
10th place is always a completely incompetent female-female team (Meredith/Maria, Megan/Heidi, Lisa/Joni)
9th place is always a seemingly competent female-female team who place high on the first leg and gradually decline from there (Lena/Kristy, Debbie/Bianca, Wanda/Desiree)
Then there is the one that stretches back to the first season. The 9th place is team is always either a female/female team or a parent/child team. Though for the first time this year the 9th place team was both!
Why does my brain store such useless trivia....

BJ and Tyler make me laugh so much. Them running backwards to the finish line and yelling "Bye" to another team at the Detour was hilarious.
"SANTA!"

First two teams are gone from my memory. Don't wanna remember 'em, don't really care. Wanda and Desiree were destined to lose. Seems like the family teams never make it too far, but what do I know?
Teams I Like
BJ and Tyler - There's nothing to hate about them. Goofy, funny, off the wall, great players.
Joseph and Monica - I always seem to like a younger couple in the race. Plus, I really like Monica. Reminds me of Reese Witherspoon. She's cute... you get the idea.
Fran and Barry - Aaand, I always seem to like the older couple in the race.
Teams I Don't Care About
Ray and Yolanda - They're good, but there's nothing I really know about them, other than they dated long-distance-ly.
Danielle and Dani - Meh, they're not arrogant and obnoxious like their biggest admirers, but there's nothing likable either. And I don't think they're hot. Certainly not the hottest. That award goes to Monica... okay, I'll stop.
Teams I Don't Like At All
Dave and Lori - ENOUGH with the LOVE. We get the goddamn picture. They are a colossal pain in the ass to me. I don't care that they're nerds. No other couple expresses themselves this much.
Eric and Jeremy - Meatheads. Knuckleheads. Lugs. Morons. Why can't all jock-types be like Howie from Big Brother 6? I miss him.
Lake and Michelle - His voice drives me crazy. Her voice drives me crazy. They drive me crazy....

I beg to differ.
They try way way way too hard with their forced mugging.

Way, WAY too hard.
"We're so zany, we're going to run backwards to the mat! Backwards! Oh boy!"
It's sad that they are good racers as they will be on for quite a bit longer, so I should get ready for more dancing at roadblocks, more tipping Phil on the mat and more jumping out in front of other teams vehicles in an effort to show that yes they are indeed wacky and zany.
At this point the only teams I'm actively cheering for are Ray & Yolanda and Monica & Joseph.

I like the two teams you mentioned, as well as Dave & Lori and Danielle & Dani (as much as the editing wants us to believe they and the nimrods have hooked up, I don't buy it), but the rest of the teams range from meh to bleh.

Those are the other two teams that I don't cheer for to be eliminated, Dave & Lori more than D&D, but D&D really need to run their own race and not follow a team that made the same mistake twice.
Fran and Barry can go far far away though, but knowing Fran she'd throw up her arms in defeat halfway there. The way they often go Oh my god when Phil tells them that somehow they are still in the race bugs me.

ha, my list of liked/disliked teams is almost the polar opposite of Mr. X's.
Love
Dave/Lori (The only team I'm rooting for right now, my other favorite team went out last week. They're too adorable, normal, and witty for me not to love.)
Like
BJ/Tyler (I usually dislike hammy, ooh-I'm-so-clever teams, but to me their zaniness seems believable.)
Eric/Jeremy (I didn't like them at first, but I've come to realize that nothing they say should be taken seriously, and that's what makes them different from the usual alpha male team, and much more entertaining)
Meh
Ray/Yolanda (I'm sure they're more interesting than the editors have made them, but right now they're pretty damn dull)
Lake/Michelle (sorry, but while Lake is a bit intense I'm not buying into the villain edit just yet)
Dislike
Fran/Barry (their attitude whenever they fall behind the pack is entirely defeatist and irritating, plus they must be the cockiest old folks team ever. They weren't as bad the last leg, but that's only because they were doing well.)
Monica/Joseph (oh boy, a bland pretty young white couple, we hardly ever see these on the race! excuse me while I try to stay awake during their segments.)
Dani/Danielle (they're not unlikeable by themselves persay, but they're so moronic and incompetent that I want them gone more than any other team still there)

Season 7 has been great so far, the last one edition makes me appreciate the greatness of this so much more. Currently, I think I like this show better than Survivor(which is odd because usually I'm a Survivor nut).
Eric and Jeremy are the dominant alpha-males, I wouldn't be surprised if they win as usual. Rob and Brennen, Alex and Chris, Reichen and Chip, the Linzes if you count them that way, they're unstoppable.
I actually don't mind E/J though, they're hella entertaining. They're probably my 2nd favorite team as of now.
My 1st favorite team is Joseph and Monica, can't explain it but I love them a lot. I also like BJ and Tyler(though not love...they do try hard).
I dislike Dave and Lori, Danielle and Dani.
Obviously they're editing Lake to be much worse than what he probably is, from the last leg he didn't seem that bad at all. They just need a villian. I still don't like him much, but he's not anything like Jonathon.
Ray and Yolanda are boring. Fran and Barry are annoying, though I still like to root for the old couple every time.

Maybe you secretly love Monica, like me.
But... MoJo is still no Romber. Not at all.

Phew, the previews had me worried that the nerds were toast. I'm so glad the Pinks are finally gone, they're bottomfeeders who overstayed their welcome a week ago. I have a feeling this is going to come back to haunt Lake/Michelle in the future though, I imagine Ray/Yolanda (who they should've yielded, considering their physical strength and obvious other advantages over the girls) will cause their elimination down the line. Fran/Barry are starting to really excel, Dave/Lori are starting to crack under the pressure, similar to Wanda/Desiree, MoJo's success really varies (I loved the "I'm not a bimbo!" confessional intermixed with her Palermo pronunciation), and when will any team other than the fratboys and hippies finish #1 or #2?! I like both of those teams, especially the wheelchair races tonight, but still it's getting ridiculous. and Ray/Yolanda, while they seem competent on the surface, they're actually the worst team left in terms of what place they finished the legs. Seems like their navigational skills are pretty lacking, and it would've lost them the race tonight were it not for Lake/Michelle's boneheaded move with that yield.

So what is the key element that's bring BJ & Tyler and the fratboys to the top everytime? It's gotta be street smarts and knowing your way with locals. Also getting along with your partner is a very good thing, and I've never seen these two teams ever get angry or frustrated yet.

Luck has been in the Hippies & the Frats' favor as well, there has literally been nary a chance for the other teams to catch up to them since the Russia leg. Lake/Michelle were in that league as well but blew it at the airport last time. Plus the standings in the second leg of Brazil were based upon who could run up the stairs the fastest, so of course they did well there as well. I expect things to even out a bit in a leg or two, it can't last forever and you know there's bound to be some bunching eventually.

Good Ray and Yolanda episode last night, Ray had some great one-liners near the end.
As for the BJ and Tyler/Eric and Jeremy dominating thing, I don't mind it that much. I think one of them will eventually win, but it won't be a blowout the whole race. Both Lake and Michelle as well as Ray and Yolanda should be tough competition down the road.
Dave and Lori will be eliminated soon, I'm betting next. They're clearly the weakest left, physically and mentally.
Fran and Barry and Joseph and Monica(sadly) are decent players, but I don't see them having the shelf life to get to the finals. F&B are too much the token old couple, and if J&M were going all the way, the show would've gaven them more screentime and likability editing by now. They would've been painted out as the next Kris and Jon.
I think it'll either be Eric and Jeremy or Ray and Yolanda that'll take it.

Good gracious! BJ/Tyler and Eric/Jeremy are never going to stop winning.
Still love Monica and Joseph... well... Monica more than Joseph.
Hate Lake/Michelle and Dave/Lori. For the former, it's Lake. My lord, what a loudmouthed bastard.
Fran and Barry are a-chuggin' along.
Ray and Yolanda probably will make it a bit further.
I felt bad for Danielle and Dani. I didn't love them or anything, but I would have preferred to see the elimination of Dave/Lori and especially Lake/Michelle now.
