I'm really liking this season so far. Melinda looks exactly like my art teacher.

And the Boston Powers thing is hilarious.

Umm... that was a rather hot immunity challenge.

I get the feeling lately that the Survivor writers think up of ways to get girls wrestling together in mud (or sand). I expect next week's challenge to somehow involve french kissing in a vat of whipped cream.

Oh, and I hate Shane.... easily one of the most annoying nuts to ever grace Survivor.

Argh. I liked Misty.

The women are falling hard and quickly in this season, not a good thing for entertainment IMO. And the ones that are left aren't exactly strong either. In fact, all except 1 are terrible.

Sally = Good, but Misty's pal and partner. Noone at camp is on her side anymore. She's still the #1 female, but nothing close to being as strong as say Danni of last season.

Deborah Har-err...Ruth Marie = Old and fraggly. Also no alliances. Easy choice for elimination. If she makes it to the merge, she could fly under the radar, but getting there will be hard when she's next on the La Mina block.

Danielle = The typical "hot chick who always goes early". Next episode looks like trouble for her.

Cirie = Um...yeah. Big black woman! As if being a fat girl wasn't hurting enough, she's one of those prissy personalitys who are specifically chosen to lose early it seems. Easy take-out once again.

Courtney= CRAZZYYYYYY. Too much of a wack-job. If she does get to the merge, a Janu like breakdown is a definite possibility.

I still like Bruce. Cirie gives me a pain in the ass that I wish I never had. I kinda figured Shane was serious when he started going on about the stump as his special chair. He should have "Dick" tattooed onto his forehead.

The challenge was quite awesome. Why was the older guy lookin' albino before the challenge even started? Did someone cover him in baby powder or what?

Props to the cameramen for staying strong on the cleavage this season.

I think Bruce should have been allowed to use his karate in the challenge. You wouldn't give Jack Bauer a gun and expect him not to use it, so...

This episode was just ok. It really sucks that Casaya keeps winning. La Mina is so unified that tribal council is really boring with them. I want Casaya to lose to just see how long it takes for Shane's alliance to fall apart.

I'm glad that Terry found the idol. He's been worried about the tribe getting down to 4 people and then getting pagonged once they merge, but by finding the idol, he's given his alliance a chance to survive. Let's assume that the standard merge occurs and Casaya has the majority 6-4. They will clearly try to vote out Terry first, but by showing Probst the idol at the last minute, Terry will be safe and the person who La Mina votes for will go home instead (hopefully it will be Shane, who has proven himself to be both a physical threat and incredibly annoying). Then La Mina only needs to flip one person from the other tribe to gain the majority, and I think that Bruce will be willing to rejoin Dan and Terry's alliance.

Cirie should start trying to work her way into Shane's alliance. If he keeps alienating everyone, they may very well let her take his spot.

BLEH. No. What Cirie should do is plant seeds of doubt in Danielle and Courtney's heads and try to get them to vote off Shane, who is easily one of the most obnoxious people that has ever been featured on this show. Casaya really needs to start losing, because every single person I like (except Cirie) is on La Mina. Kinda sad to see Ruth Marie go; she wasn't shown talking much but she seemed like a nice woman. I'm kind of glad Sally didn't go, though, I really like her.

EDIT: Whoops, misread your post. Forget the "BLEH, No" part, I agree with what you said, heh.

Cirie is becoming a much potentially stronger player than what I expected. I kind've liked Ruth, so the elimination bugged me. I guess it's better than Sally, but both deserved to be there more than Shane and crazy Courtney. I guess Survivor is a lot of luck. Really, Ruth was a 2nd incarnation of Tina Wesson. One gets voted out 4th, the other wins. Same thing with Misty and Sally, they're no different than Jenna and Heidi from the Amazon.

Anyways, I still like this season. But I hope they root out the crap contestants soon. If Cirie gets eliminated before Shane and Courtney...

Except Misty and Sally aren't skanky bimbos who would strip buck naked for a slab of peanut butter like Jenna and Heidi were.

and Misty & Sally were actually likeable and not vapid twits (though Jenna's not nearly as bad as Heidi).

Anyway, I hope Casaya keeps winning just because they have the most interesting characters and therefore provide the most entertainment. It seems like everyone on that tribe hates each other, and that always makes for good tv. La Mina on the other hand is more like watching the "Who Can Worship Terry More?" show and it gets old fast. It's like an episode of the Brady Bunch where whoever kisses up to dad the most gets a new bike. And of course the outcast middle child aka Jan is present in Sally. She's really the only keeper on that tribe, Terry & Austin seem a bit too high on themselves, Dan looks like a rotting corpse, and Nick is devoid of personality even if he is hot. Too bad if La Mina loses again Sally's on the chopping block yet again, though she might be skilled enough to get them to oust Dan instead. She better hope they stop losing immunity challenges, the girl's got game in her but she can only do so much considering the position she's in. If she makes it to the merge she could go pretty far.

As for Casaya, the only reason I'd want them to lose is to see who they'd vote out. The only ones I think that are safe from getting voted out at the next Tribal Council are Aras & Bruce. Danielle may not bug people as much as Courtney but Courtney I think is athletically the strongest girl on their tribe. And heck, Cirie's up there too. I will be so sad if they vote out Cirie, but all her gleeful "ah the alliance is breaking up!" confessionals have me worried that it's actually not going to happen. and strangely enough, Shane seems to be getting a stronger foothold in the tribe as time wears on. He seems pretty tight with Aras & Bruce, and maybe even Cirie. I'd say Bobby goes first, he's the only one that's really been incapable of making any social inroads with anyone other than Cirie. Plus Danielle was itching to get rid of him when they voted off Melinda (this wasn't shown on the show).

and they best start voting out some guys soon, I'm still enjoying the season so far but it's pretty crazy that there are only 4 women left.

ha I thought I was the only person who didn't like him doing that! In the earlier seasons, he would just reveal the votes without much fanfare, but then he started the "nth person voted out of Survivor is..." along with the obvious swell in the music and it spoiled the whole thing. For once though, if he had done it tonight there still would have suspense since there was a tie going into the last vote, hm odd. Without him saying that I was briefly confused actually, I was like ..wait so is Bobby voted out then?

anyway great episode tonight. Casaya has the most interesting and insane set of people that the show has ever seen, it's crazy how many different people are feuding with each other. And that was one of the most erratic (in terms of voting) tribal councils ever, which is always much more entertaining than only two people getting votes. I believe it's the first time since season 1 that a person who has not received the majority of the votes went home (Bobby only got 3/7 votes). These folks are plain crazy, except for Cirie who I hope wins the whole thing. As for La Mina ...are they still there??

The two younger ladies of Casaya are playing a poor game. Those two + Cirie could have voted any of the men off and they chose Bobby over Ares?

The girls should have booted Ares or Shane and hooked up with Bobby, who is way too much of a moron to ever win.

I guess Courtney/Danielle aren't ready to break their shaky alliance with Aras/Shane quite yet. Too bad as it'll probably bite them in the ass later on, but oh well. Cirie seemed to just be going along with anything that kept her out of the line of fire.

The girls could have the upper hand with Bruce next week though..where exactly is he going to fall if Casaya loses immunity again? He and Aras don't get along, so it's hard to see him aligning with the guys, yet he and Courtney don't get along so it's hard to see him aligning with the girls. My guess is he gets the boot if they lose again, either that or it's a tie between one of the guys (Aras?) and Courtney (EVERY guy on Casaya has quarreled with her).

Wooo Cirie! Way to represent the normal people!

Honestly, the Casya tribe has got to be the most disfunctional batch since the show started. Heck, even Shane or Courtney alone would be enough to contaminate any group.

The Casaya tribe is literally insane. If I were Cirie, I would be looking around for a gun to shoot myself at any moment.

Let's see:

Bruce - Annoying
Danielle - Meh
Aras - Jerk
Shane - Batshit freak
Courtney - Annoying trippy girl

I'm serious, if Shane and Courtney hooked up in some alternate universe, the world would just like explode.

I'm actually thinking Danielle has a shot at winning this game. She has such a cutthroat and booming personality, she's the most manipulative in the whole game. I mean, when everyone was about to vote for Bruce, she just said "Grr! I don't like Bobby!" and everyone all of a sudden switched to voting for him. She'll make the merge(which is probably the week after next), and then with her somewhat strong connections, I think she'll go somewhat far. The 3 girls will team up with Sally if she's still alive, and most likely Aras. That mayyyy force a 5-5 tie, but if they get through that she's set.
