Adam and Jonathan are neck and neck after this episode for annoying racer of the season so far. Although my assessment of Jonathan might be off as he wasn't his normal Jonathan self this episode. Sure he was still an idiot - but not the annoying level he usually is. Adam on the other hand, still calls his parents Mommy and Daddy, and had his mother cut his toenails for him at the time he was dating Rebecca? That's just sad. Not even funny sad, just sad. Jump off the ferry Adam, JUMP....

A great exciting leg this week where the front runners had to deal with adversity and it was great to see Kris and Jon play it off, work hard and finish 1st. Kris really performed well on that salt road block, as to did Lori and MJ. Wow, she was fantastic. Totally deserved the applause at the end. I was worried that they were going to get eliminated - like I am every leg - but as soon as Phil smiled, I knew they were safe. Yay!

Good for Don and Mary Jean! Hopefully they can pass some of the other teams. They would have been in the top 3, I think, if they would have stacked the fish instead of went fishing. They always seem to make the wrong choices. I hope they go far.

I can't endure another episode with Jonathan

He actually wasn't that bad last night, I though. Adam was worse than him. But I did laugh for a little while when Victoria said he would be a good father.

I want Jonathan to die. I want Bolo to pick him up and toss him like a football. Asshole. :evil:

And did Freddy and Kendra take a taxi or drive in a car? Because I thought I saw them coming out of a taxi, and the clue said to take a car.

Yeah, the last 5 minutes or so were almost unwatchable due to Jonathan shouting at his wife Victoria. You know your problems are out in the open when Phil has to tell you to talk to your wife.

As for the rest of the leg, it was kind of ho-hum. Nothing really interesting happened, I was surprised at the generosity the other teams showed Don and MJ - that was nice to see. Not surprised at Kendra's "Breeding" comment, I always knew she was a classless ass. Kinda surprised at Rebecca's "escaping" comment regarding the slaves. They weren't so much escaping - as doing the exact opposite.

Don and MJ get the boot so they must have spent a LONG time at the church looking for the clue rather than just seeing the chains. They were well behind other teams and that's including Bolo and Lori's misadventures on the train. Sad to see them go, but now I can transfer my love to Kris & Jon and Gus & Hera. Go racers Go.

A bit expected for me to see Don and Marie Jean eliminated. I thought they would be the first eliminated in the race, but surprisingly they have made it very far.

I can't tell the 3 young couples apart. They all look the same to me. I don't even really know if there's 3 or 2 of them.

Jonathan could end up being the first racer asked to leave the show. Did you see the way he almost pushed his wife over? He's close to really hitting her (he once did a slap stop and scared her in a cab).

Guy is crazy.

I didn't really like (almost) anyone's attitude in Africa. IT was...blah.


Jonathan, ugh...he's not even one of those guys whose annoyingness is amusing. He's just realy resallly dislikable.

I think we are going to see some repercussions from Jonathan's hitting of his wife, maybe disciplinary action by the show.

The problem is he never actually physically struck her. His hands came close and he was incredibly verbally abuse, but there was no actual hitting that I know of.

He shoved Victoria. It was on their way to the mat to check in. At that point she was crying pretty hysterically and Jonathan shoved her and she lost balance. It's questionable if he came into contact with her or just her backpack - but that doesn't excuse his actions. He shoved her in anger and with the intent to make her feel bad. It made for a very uncomfortable episode.

The episode ended with every team going into the internet cafe, but Lori and Bolo sleeping on the bench at the train station in the rain. The episode is To Be Continued.

I thought it was a good episode. Loved that Jonathan and Victoria got kicked out of the cab, and got irritated at how mad Jonathan got at Gus for 'stealing' his seas on the plane. I really enjoyed how Gus would accurately describe Jonathan as a "little bitch" and the like, so true.

Kris and Jon remain my favourite team - they were very positive even when the hungarian motorist probably told them off, and even stayed positive when they had to switch cars. Sad that Lori and Bolo seem to be very behind the other teams. There are other teams I'd like to see go before them. I still don't understand why Aaron punched the pole, you show that pole! Moron.
