I thought the episode was pretty funny, but I don't like how they have everyone suddenly care about Michael's feelings in "The Dundies" (when the hecklers in the bar were throwing stuff at him), and now they were all laughing at him when Jann was listing everything that was wrong with Michael.
Still good episode, though.

I like this show more now, sometimes more than Earl. I like Earl a lot but they are being a little too heartwarming on it.
That guy who plays the assistant to the manager on Office should get an Emmy nomination. Even though he disgusts me.

Dwight and Angela... oh goodness.
They made use of the whole faux documentary thing a lot more on Tuesday's episode. I kinda like it.

Yes, it was very prominent Tuesday. It has been a larger part for the last few shows. Perhaps people just watching the show for the first time were wondering why the hell Jim was looking at the camera so much?
Another great episode, I think. I still feel bad for Michael, and I can't figure if the show wants me to feel bad for him. They heavily push him as being worthy of the hatred from everyone who comes in contact with him.

Oh god, that episode was good! Looks like Angela lost it.
Kevin: "Kevin Malone."
Bob: "Bob Vance; Vance Refrigeration!"
Stanley: "Stanley Hudson."
Bob: "Bob Vance; Vance Refrigeration!"
Ryan: "Ryan Howard."
Bob: "Bob Vance; Vance Refrigeration!"
Ryan: "What line of work you in, Bob?"
The main cast needs some awards, damn it!

Another good show last night. I would say for the past couple of shows it has been better than Earl, but not overall.

The Golden Globes don't usually nominate a show that ends in May, so perhaps Raymond won't get any major nominations this year. Anyone think The Office could get nominated? I say My Name is Earl is almost a lock, as the Golden Globes love nominating new shows that do really well and get a lot of buzz.

The Globes have nominated Ray like, once, so there should be no worries. However, for the nomination, it has to compete with Arrested Development (One last hurrah), Desperate Housewives (It sucks, but it won last year, so they'll feel obligated), Earl, Entourage (It really broke out this year), CYE (There's been a backlash, but it is Larry), Everybody Hates Chris (They're actually accepting of UPN and WB), How I met Your Mother (The other comedy critical hit) and Scrubs (Which the emmys used to out-hipped the Globes). It is a very, very tight catagory. But The Office has a good chance.
EDIT: Oh, also forgot Extras, as the Globes did give the original Office the Globe for Comedy and Actor, which could easily hurt Office's chances.

Hmm... I don't think HIMYM will get nominated. Too soon for it. Not that Earl isn't too soon either, but I think Earl has more attention and buzz. Nominations announced next Thursday, should be fun as the Globes always are.

I don't know if anyone posted this, but...
Apple has added a slew of new shows to its library of downloadableness at iTunes, this time by way of NBC. And The Office is one of them.
(Guess it didn't hurt to have a little iPod promotion in yesterday's episode. Heeeeeheeeee.)

The Office most likely won't get nominated. It really has no plot, it just relies on stupid humor. That doesn't mean it's not a great show, though.

I didn't find this last episode very funny. It was 90% just Jim trying to get that stupid tea pot to Pam who didn't appreciate it anyway. Still it's better than most shows on these days, this is just not a high point era for TV comedy.

Bumpsies. Returns tonight at 9:30, on NBC's newly revamped Thursday line-up.

The Office is becoming one of those shows where even so-so episodes are pretty good, and I'd say that about tonight's.
Didn't laugh much, but I still like the Jim/Pam stuff. And Michael's advice at the end was kinda nice.
I hope the show gets a much deserved bump in the ratings.

I really don't like Michael. He's getting over-the-top obnoxious. No one would ever work for that guy. I do like how everyone responds to him, especially Dwight.

I thought the episode was pretty good. The main problem is that the Jim/Pam thing is going to be difficult to carry on for a few seasons, and if they just get them together soon, it will ruin an important aspect of the show. Gonna be tricky.

Apparently The Office has been a huge succes for NBC on iTunes thus far, and they're even attributing some ratings increases to its popularity online.

When it tries to be just funny, the show succeeds very well, such as last week's episode about Michael burning his foot on his George Foreman grill, that was hilarious from start to finish. But when it tries to be relationship oriented it gets boring and forced. Not bad though, the cast is still good and enjoyable but it ventures too much into soap territory in those episodes like this last one just now. If they'd just stick to being funny I think it could become the next big hit.

I thought last night's episode was really good. And I, for one, enjoy the developing Jim/Pam relationship. The closing moments were really nice.
On a side note, I finally got my mom to watch the show last night. She can't understand why Michael Scott acts the way he does.

I thought it was good, and yes I enjoy the Jim Pam thing when done in moderation. I didn't get the ending though, it could have been taken several different ways and would like to hear what you all think on that.

I loved Pam's "I hold off as long as possible to take my vacation days... and it's the third week of January."
