Holy moley, Season 6 starts tomorrow night!! I just hope the twist(s) don't make the show confusing or anything. Simplicity goes together with reality, after all.

Nah, but I have since then, and yea, he does seem boring.

Great first episode. The house is pretty neat. Love the HOH room. The first challenge was pretty cool. Anyone want to take bets that the supposed 7-person alliance won't last past week 2? Based on first impressions, I like Maggie, Sarah, James, Eric, and Rachel. I don't like Kaysar(can you say paranoid), Ashlea, or Janelle. So I was pretty happy with the nominations. This looks to be a great season. By the way, in the preview at the end, who was person that found the secret room in the wall(very cool)? It looked like Rachel. Can anyone confirm?

And I guess the rumors were true about Ivette. I wonder when or if she'll tell the others.

Yeah, I think it was Rachel that found that secret room. I wonder if that will give her access to the camera 'hallways' that surround the rooms so that she can spy on people.
My two early favourites are Sarah and James. I'm anxious to see who everyone is paired with, since it could seriously affect how I feel about these two people and their chances in the game.

The house looks good, but the cast disappointed me. I'm pretty sure CBS was just thinking about the Hot tub when finding people for the show. I really haven't enough time to flesh out favourites, but I already dislike Howie and Eric. I think if I can get over a resemblance to Alison from BB4 I will be able to like Maggie. April's accent will get grating fast and I already want Julie Chen disposed of.

I like the HoH room too. And, duhh, the 7 person alliance definately won't last. Remember BB4 when the first group in the house promised to knock out their ex's first -- that lasted only to kick out Amanda, then it fell apart.
I do like Kaysar.. I didn't think I would. Before seeing the show, I thought I would love Eric.. but he's annoying. I really don't like him. The way he talks and acts just irks me.
Based on tonight, I like Rachel & April, and for guys Michael (who is also the cutest of the guys). But, I'll be watching the feeds, so I'll really get to see them .
P.S. -- Yes, I think it was Rachel that found the room. And it sucks that they already found the secret room so dang fast. I wanted it to take a little longer. They've already been in the house for a few days, and she found it already. They all probably already know about it.

I think Michael & Kaysar are paired together. First, there are a lot of rumors on BB fansites about them living in the same town and them knowing each other.. also, today, during the show, I thought it was odd how when everyone was exploring the house, the two of them went off together to the bathroom together and they were all talking and joking liek old pals. And during the HoH contest, they were also standign together by the door whipsering & watching.

Janelle reminds me of Holly from last year (i.e. not a good thing) and Howie seems like the typical cocky meathead this show produces, although he seems a bit smarter than they normally are.
I was liking Eric, but this "final 4" and "all guys alliance" nonsense on the first night was dumb. An all-gender alliance has never worked before, why would it work now, especially so early on?
Based on tonight, current favorites seem to be Rachel, Ivette and James. I didn't get much of an impression/reading from anyone else that I didn't mention.

I was reading the LF updates, and Er-ick quickly moved up to #2 on my hate list, he's second only behind Howie who is quickly giving Scott and Jase a run for their jerk-ass money.

Oh, how Howie makes me miss Jase and the Meathead Clan.
Did someone say "Big Brother: Attack of the Metrosexuals"?

I like Maggie and April. Janelle is pretty fun, but I wouldn't call her one of my favourites. She is entertaining though. I like her rather outgoing and positive personality. She's just interesting to watch. Rachel is "good" in my book, but again, I wouldn't call her a favourite. She's just sort of bland and there. And Ivette is probably THE most annoying person in the house. My opinion on this may change as the show continues, but Ivette so far annoys the hell out of me. Urggh. I just sort of wish she'd shut her trap. As for the other women, I didn't really get to know them well enough, due to editing.
The only guy I actually like is Michael. Beau is either gay or highly effeminate. Either way, his personality just annoys me. Can't help it. James is WAYYYY too serious. I guess maybe he might have a better chance at winning the game because he's really serious about it, but I think he's too much about "gameplay" and not enough about just having fun. He lied about his job, so he didn't become "threatening" he says. lol. Eric is annoying and seems to think he is above the other contestants. He spoke really down about Kaysar, who couldn't make the coconut shots, but even when Eric stepped in, he couldn't get the shots either. Speaking of Kaysar, he's incredibly paranoid. And Howie is horribly annoying and cocky and stupid.
House looks great. I'm excited about the secret room thing, and I like the 2nd floor balcony in the house, allows for some nice spying. I don't like the bigger pool. It gives them more chance to just lounge around in a big pool. The tiny underground pool before gave them something, but didn't give them too much. I don't know how to say it, but that's how I felt when I first heard about it.
That's about it, I suppose.
PEACE, Mike

************SPOILERS*************
Highlight if you want to know the pairs.
The livefeeders seem to have found out who is paired with who.
Janelle and Ashlea Micheal and Kaysar April and Jennifer Maggie and Eric Beau and Ivette Howie and Rachel James and Sarah
James and Sarah are a couple as they shared a kiss on the feeds. I think Howie and Rachel are brother/sister as well as Maggie and Eric. The rest are just friends.

Spoilers, highlight
If true, Rachel's decision to have Howie being the last key was smart. It made it seem like she wanted to make him sweat, when they're obviously working together. Good.

Spoilers: Highlight to read.
I have the feeds, and have been watching and discussing on BB messageboards... we're all thinking there might be a foursome pair. Those are the pairs, as they have been figured out so far, but I think the foursome is with Janelle, Ashlea, Ivette, and Beau. Janelle & Ashlea have revealed they are a pair. They were talking and Ashlea was talking to her about the past hairstyles she had and asked Janelle about whether she liked her hair when it was dark, or now that it was blonde... and Janelle never mentioned having it darker before. And Ivette was talking about a couch she had and she goes, "I had a couch like this at home.. Ask Janelle." And Beau seems to be connected to Ashlea as well, because he has a friendster account online and he has a friend on it named "Ashleigh" with a picture of Ashlea on it. Then, there seems to be clues pointing to there being a foursome pair. In the past years, they had clues.. like the DNA helix last year in the first food comp, and the multiple faces statue.. then in BB4 there was the X Factor, and the house had a sculpture of an X. This season, there is a design on the wall of four figures all standing together. It was on the living room wall. I'll try to get a picture of it.

The cast has yet to make much of an impression on me. I remember after the first ep last year, I already dispised Jase, Scott, and Cowboy. Anyway, I'll give it a few more weeks that's for sure. I mean, when was the last time a reality TV show DIDN'T give us anyone to hate?
As for the cast itself? Well, Beau is a Marcellas rip-off. Eric seems like a cool guy, but I'm a bit sick of the whole firefighter schtick. April reminds me of Tina Wesson from Survivor, and that may explain why I think she's my early favorite to win. The Iraqi guy seems a bit interesting, although being a non-moron in the Big Brother house can sometimes make you feel out of place.

I get Big Brother on Global in Canada, and it's showing Without a Trace, when Big Brother should be on. Is it on in the US now, or at 9 or 10?

My comments, *SPOILERS*, highlight to read:
I've lost a lot of liking to Rachel now that she is paired with Howie. I couldn't possibly root for her if she is working with Howie. Also, I find it funny that Beau and Ivette are paired together: the two most annoying people in the house for me. They're definately not going to be near the top of my list. I think Maggie and Eric are going to be one of my favourite pairs. Michael and Kaysar might be a good pair too. Don't know enough about the rest to comment.

SPOILER
Highlight if you want to know the POV winner.
Rachel won the Power of Veto and it dosen't look like shes going to use it so I'm thinking Ashlea is doomed.

SPOILERS
Yeah, Ashlea is doomed. They're talking about it on the feeds, how she's going to go, although James and I believe Eric (not sure) were talking about voting against Kayser and making the vote 9-2 (with Ashlea out), so that people start going crazy wondering who voted against Ashlea and went against the promise they all made, etc. Donno if they're going to do it though.
Next week, if Mike doesn't win HoH, and if Ivette, April, Jennifer, or Eric does... I think it's a safe bet to say Mike will be nominated. They were all in the bathroom awhile ago sitting down and bitching about him. Jennifer was all flirting with Michael, and then today he was blowing raspberries on her neck and it made her uncomfortable bc Ivette was telling her earlier about how shes doing all this and she has a boyfriend and she's being unfaithful, etc. so she got mad and flipped it around and started telling people that Michael was harassing her and then all of them sat in the bathroom saying how he's "unstable" and then Eric was going on abotu his 'defensive posture' and how he flips out and April was saying how he goes from one extreme thing to the next... so I'd think he's a target of theirs.

Very entertaining Big Brother episode! I thought it was well directed, and it was very tense. The build up to the discovery of the secret room was very nice. Overall, very cool. I'm excited to see what happens still.

I just found out from the show that the pairs don't know they actually get MORE money if they make sure the two of them make it to the end together. I thought they did know, so I thought that money would be a strong motivation for the pairs to really stick together.
I definately don't think James and Sarah will make it really far anymore. They're the one pairing that is completely clueless and doesn't really think there are other pairs. Pretty much everyone else has figured out that they aren't the only twist, and that others are paired up as well. And there was one pairing that we are shown who knows or suspects James and Sarah of being together or "married" they guessed. They are infact dating.
Like I always thought, I see Maggie and Eric making it far. I also love them both. I think they are my favourite pair. I like Rachel, but she's paired with Howie, and I hate him. Ivette and Beau are both annoying, and paired together. Michael and Kaysar are paired together, so I think I'll like them too. I like Michael.
Well, Janelle has lost her partner Ashlea. The editing made it so we hardly got to know Ashlea at all, so I don't really have any opinion of her and I'm not really happy or sad she's gone.
What the heck was up with the lame HOH competition? Why ask questions that are incredibly easy, and simply make this a test of who has faster motor skills? I thought that was stupid. The game didn't really require atheleticism or intelligence, just happening to hit the right button before anyone else does. Meh.
I'm happy Eric won though. And I would have been happy with Janelle winning too, who got second. For some reason, I actually like her.
Another great episode.
PEACE, Mike
